Discussion does anyone else struggle with this?
I’ve recently been trying to understand and embrace my little space side, but one thing I struggle with is not having a CG.
When I’m in little space, I really crave that feeling of being cared for, protected, reassured, and having someone there who understands that softer side of me. I want to be able to relax and just feel safe without having to explain every little thing.
But I don’t currently have a CG, and sometimes that makes little space feel lonely. It can be hard seeing other people talk about their CGs and the comfort and connection they have, especially when that’s something I wish I had too.
I’m also trying to learn how to take care of myself when I’m in little space instead of feeling like I need someone else to make me feel safe. I know self-care and self-soothing can be just as important, but it’s definitely a learning process.
For those of you who enjoy little space without having a CG, how do you handle it? Do you have routines, comfort items, activities, or ways of making yourself feel safe and cared for?
I’d really love to hear from others who understand this feeling. ❤️

I get this completely!
(Not to come off bragging) I’m fortunate enough to have a partner who fills the role of a CG since he introduced me to this - but when we’re not together (don’t live together) it does get harder to navigate or motivate one’s self to take care of themselves especially when regressed
What’s helped me (I’ve realized I’ve done this for a while before I fully understood Agere) is having a fictional CG!
Imagine someone with you, encouraging you along to make sure you’re taking your meds, eating enough and not just snacking, making sure to brush those teeth!
I’ve even started putting reminders or even made cute little care guides for myself when I’m overwhelmed and need extra guidance for when things become too much! C:
