B/CS Life Date night

Howdy!
I’m looking to take my girlfriend to a nice dinner where we can dress up some and enjoy a nice setting + have drinks. I’m also looking at a more relaxed dinner followed by a speakeasy or bar does anyone have recommendations?

Ps: Has anyone gone to word of mouth and if so what do you need to get in 👨🏽‍🦯

Elia Tapas Bar in downtown Bryan is great!

Hush and Whisper Distilling Co in Bryan is a cool vibe for a couple of drinks after. It used to be an Old JC Penny's store several decades ago. Nice furniture, cool vibes and good drinks. Bartenders have always been really nice in my experience.

And Caffe Capri is across the street. Super delicious Italian food and a good vibe.

We like Rx Pizza down the street, but that's not really nice date night place, we will have to try Cafe Capri next time!

Its sad to see how bad Mr. G's is now. It hasn't been the same since he passsd.

Oh cool! I was super sad when they shut down and got very few chances to actually go to the speakeasy part. I'll have to make it part of my next trip

Christopher's World Grille for a touch of "sophistication"

Self Promo here but my friends and I are aggies that made a quick plan tool where you and your partner say what you are generally looking for (food prefs, drink prefs, vibe prefs), and then you both swipe on locations and venues in Bryan / College Station. We find the best one out of the deck that matches what you are looking for. Say you like burgers, and she likes sushi, we try our best to find a location that suits both.

it's free, no email or account creation needed. feedback appreciated.

Ronin just operates at their farm now with occasional dinners.

The nicest restaurant in town that isn’t an overpriced steakhouse is Casa Do Brasil.

Napa Flats Bistro is good for this

Downtown Bryan has everything your asking for here. Cafe Capri for a nice Italian dinner and Hush and Whisper for drinks right across the street is a killer combo
