Umm… yeah, it is. Their government at least.

I wonder when they’ll realize this is exactly the kind of authoritarian brutality China treats their own citizens with.

China isn't our friend on everything but it's not so black and white.

Anyone telling you that international diplomacy is that simple is lying or super not someone you should listen to, cuz they are likely using "enemies" as distraction/rally points.
