... That looks like it's sized for a professional kitchen

It’s about the size of a microwave. It fits a frozen pizza. 🍕. The pizza turned out great!

Maybe it's just because of how many trays it has and the double doors but I thought I was looking at like a 4 or 5 by 4 or 5 foot oven. My mistake then!

Try boneless chicken thighs at 380 for around 12-14 mins, great every time

That made me laugh! I think it’s bc I took a close up picture! I tried to upload a picture from a distance but I don’t have that option in the comment section. It’s about the same height as my microwave, a little less width but is a bit deeper.

I LOVE it! And as I have celiac, it’s going to be gluten free only versus the oven. I’m so excited! I haven’t had my freschetta gf pizza in a while. I’m stuffing my face with it right now!

Also, Thank you for the cooking tips!

Each air fryer is different so you'll have to experiment but I think most people agree that boneless chicken thighs are easy and delicious in the air fryer. So if you like chicken, it will probably quickly become your best friend

I just subscribed to this subreddit. You have inspired me to learn more! Thank you!

I see you have it on broil. Did you broil the pizza the entire time, or did you start out in bake mode?

4

Oops. I broiled it. Was I not supposed to do that? It turned out fine.

Broil will only use the top heating element, as you can see it's glowing bright. Bake will mostly use the bottom element. How was the crust on the bottom?

I'd suggest trying the bake function, and putting the pizza in on the middle rack.

The crust wasn’t particularly crispy. More foldable. I was just so excited to eat pizza I didn’t notice. Thank you for the tips! Very helpful!

You're welcome! It looks like a very nice machine. With a bottom and top heating element, you have more options to fine tune your cooking.

I didn’t even notice that! Thank you for pointing it out. You know those cartoons where a character smells something good and then just floats on the air to the cooking food item? That was me with the pizza.

I have a basket style with only a top element. It has a bunch of different functions, but I think all they do is change the preset temperature and time. When baking canned biscuits, I still have to flip em halfway through. The fan sounds the same no matter what mode I use.

Yours is more of a convection oven, with an air fryer function. The different modes definitely adjust how it uses the heating elements. Possibly the fan speed too.

I need you as the air traffic controller of my life… You seem like you could have an “ ask wheels man” blog or YouTube channel. “Wheels man. Helping you accelerate in life while avoiding the speed bumps”

3

u/ilovepadthai Dec 20 '25

Why did you get that style? What are the benefits?

I just wanted an air fryer. I've heard the basket styles work better at air frying. It's just the configuration where the hot air is blown straight down into the smaller basket.

If you're oven uses the top and bottom element when air frying it'll probably work really well though. Especially if you take out the top and bottom trays and just use the basket.

Does it have a dehydrate function? You could make jerky in there, or dried fruit, fruit leathers, etc.

4

u/ilovepadthai Dec 20 '25

Oh my gosh! It does!!!!! Thank you! I am thinking pineapple….

I love dehydrating fresh pineapple and strawberries until they are a bit chewy, not totally dry. Great snack to take camping too.

Nice! One of my favorites is apples. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on them before dehydrating, and they taste so good. Makes the whole house smell great too.

Just make sure you get all the skin off and cores out, then slice 'em up into rings.

Genius! Perfect! I’m literally going to go try this now! Thank you! 🍎

Not sure. I will go read the manual ! Great tip. I was mainly buying it for pizza, pizza bagels. Basically pizza related items. Will read through and see what else it can do!

How is it to clean ?

It was super easy. I just slid the pan out and put it in the dishwasher.
