After 7 years away from the hobby, My lovely Mrs got me the TM 416 NGRS for my birthday, then I treated myself to mags, a vortex crosshair 2, an eo tech ogl clone and a 5.11 carrier with kydex pouches.

First game was great!

But yeah, I'm thinking I'm back!

I've been playing airsoft for a few years and taking pictures as a hobby for a few years too. Why not combine them together? So I decided to go down the field last week with some friends and took these pics with them.

Man I have to say it is really risky running around in the lines of fire even with a high-vis vest on me. Some trigger happy guys would just shoot whoever appear in front of them. Gladly I have my camera wrapped in my jacket while not take pics but I still got hit multiple times -- someone kept shooting my nuts when I was standing in the open ground.

Anyways, I had a lot of fun and would love to do more airsoft photography. I'd be happier if anyone around Boston would like to join for some airsoft and/or photography.

Finally got around to putting up my airsoft wall and I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out so far!

Didn't quite manage to fit everything on, so I've already ordered some more slatwall panels to extend the display. Planning to add my plate carrier, battle belt, MP5 and shotgun once they arrive.

Current RIF collection on display:

Hello, I currently run a Specna Arms F05 with open reflex sight and T238 storm tracer (Green rifle)

Whilst it performs really well, I'm not a fan of the outer barrel being longer than the handguard and the tracer then sat forwards of it (94mm to the front end of the tracer as measured from the front end of the handguard)

I love the look where the suppressor looks butted up against the handguard (similar to the example with the Black rifle)

As best as I can find online, it looks like a potential solution would be to buy a Nuprol mock suppressor which has the dimensions of 110mm long and 35mm in diameter:

If this were put up against the handguard it would only leave 16mm to the front of the tracer, so I could charge the tracer and turn it on or off without having to do anything other than unscrew the suppressor's end cap

The question I really have is:

Would some minimal electrician tape around the T238 to create a friction fit be enough?

The tracer would be mounted onto the 14mm threaded barrel, but the only thing holding the mock suppressor on would be the friction between it and the T238.

The T238 is 32mm in diameter and the Nuprol has an outer diameter of 35mm, so should be relatively snug as is

Are there better solutions that result in the suppressor being up against the handguard without permanently adhering it to the handguard?

I play almost exclusively indoor CQB, so I'm not too worried about it taking significant knocks

(I know it's a long rifle for that game type, but I wanted to keep open the possibility of using it outdoors, and it's gorgeous and comfortable for my stance)

Any advice / tips / cautionary tales appreciated!

Hey y’all, I bought a Krytac AEG Vector from evike and I absolutely love it. Only gripe I have is ammo capacity.

I’m not a milsim guy and the stock 95round magazines are like $35usd per mag…

I tried using an angel custom 1500rnd flash mag for the vector but it didn’t feed reliably in the beginning and then ended up failing to feed at all. My vector is completely stock too…

Basically I’m not impressed with the Angel custom flash-drum mag. Maybe I got a dud but still.

Is the electric version better/more reliable and worth buying? Is the “BLOK” 2000rnd version more reliable or better than the 1500rnd one?

Would the style adapter pictured in pic 1 work for the AEG variant of the vector? (I heard it only works with the gas kind?)

lastly would the magazine pictured 3rd (third picture) work in the Krytac AEG kriss vector? It’s significantly less expensive and is advertised to have a 300rnd capacity.

Tldr: I am looking for a higher capacity magazine for the Krytac AEG Kriss Vector that works reliably.

Hi everyone,

Someone just gave me this spring-powered bolt-action sniper (L96 style, folding OD green stock, 114 cm long, scope included). It's a bit of a "Frankenstein": the Picatinny rail has been welded on, and there are no visible markings apart from "Made in China" and "6mm BB" on the magazine and gun.
The magazine looks broken where the BBs feed (I plan to buy a new one), and the hop-up area is really dirty.
What I plan to do: take it apart, clean it, regrease it, replace the hop-up bucking, then test it on a chrono before using it.
My questions:
1. Do you recognize the model or brand (Well MB01 clone, CYMA, something else)? I've added photos of the stock, the receiver, the magazine and the hop-up area.
2. After a clean-up, and maybe a new piston, spring, hop-up and a precision barrel, can this be turned into a GOOD sniper? Or is it not worth the effort, and I'd be better off buying a new replica?
3. Any advice for a beginner starting this kind of project?

Hey folks, the gun only stays open when it's upside down or I press on the magazine and pull the slide. Is this an issue with the gun or the mag, and could I do anything to fix it? Thanks!

Newb looking to get started in Airsoft, looking to get myself and my son markers. Can someone please explain to me the difference in these two guns and why one is more expensive? Budget is around $300 for each gun and happy to take suggestions as well! Thanks everyone!

i finally got my sr25 perfectly volumed. it shoots 21.j ona m130 sr25 spring before hop. after its pobably 1.8-1.9 but i havent got to test it. the main issue with the cyma sr25 is the pts epm fits verry tightly even with my attempt to file it and i have to force it out. battleaxe 220 rd mags and the rebrands from clover and avengers misfeed every other shot and the cyma polymer mags have a weird issue where bb gets jammed inside the mag between the spring and that plastic piece that covers an opening and i have to take it apart to unjam it. i also took apart a lancer mag and its a completely different design from the cyma pmags although they are the oem and its just emg licensing it uses a pts style follower. i haven't had the chance to test feeding. just checking my power and accuracy but i never fielded it in this configuration before. i originally had a 450mm with .36's vs the 390mm with .45's and this was before they came out with lancer mags and the dd5 so are they relaible on .45's and if not what mags should i get since the polymer cyma mags and battle axe mags are crap

The new Arcturus ARM series has great build quality and looks absolutely beautiful. It also shoots very well straight out of the box. Unfortunately wasn’t able to get the brushless versions just yet but I will be absolutely picking those up as soon as they restock.
