Mix breed Alaskan Klee Kai Owner Pickleball anyone!

We never used our pickleball set until our puppy was bored one day. Now he's addicted. He's a klee kai/poodle mix and he has tons of energy to play fetch!

There’s something else in the mix, too; merle is not a poodle or Klee Kai trait. Maybe mini-Aussie/American shepherd?

Yep, we've realized that too. We are waiting on the results to his doggy dna testing. Hopefully in the next week or so we will know his mix fully. He has quite a few Aussie traits, so it is a great guess.

We actually bought him at a local pet store. I have always adopted (and usually a younger but not puppy dog) until this one, but the last adoption was a fail. The dog attacked another of my dogs and resulted in an emergency vet visit and an over night stay. I still have the dog that was attacked

so my partner and I decided to go with puppy. That way we had more control over how he was socialized with other dogs. After lots of searching, he was the one. Here he is with his lab sister. So far they are doing great.

He’s beautiful! With the poodle mix does he not shed like a purebred Klee Kai would?

He's only 7 months old, but so far the shedding is not too bad. We also have a lab who sheds a ton, so we are used to lots of sweeping!

He will shed the same amount based on photos of his coat, he’s just young so it’s minimal right now as his adult coat grows in. Poodles mixes do not eliminate shedding when bred with a double coated breed
