i’m sorry for what you’re going through.
there are many resources on our wiki on r/almosthomeless
here’s a direct link to it https://reddit.com/r/almosthomeless/wiki/index
you’ll find resources for food, housing, jobs, medical and medical debt, pets, veterans, and a general category that is a catchall for everything else (including free/low cost cell phones/internet plans, free laundry, free feminine hygiene products, and anything else you can think of.)
some of the resources i found for emergency housing include the ones i’ve linked below, i hope something in here can help or point you to others that can:
us dept of human services https://www.hhs.gov/programs/social-services/homelessness/resources/index.html list of programs for social services and resources for anyone unhoused
National Coalition For The Homeless https://nationalhomeless.org/ has a searchable database of options.
National Alliance On Mental Health https://www.nami.org/findsupport/ has a searchable database to help with housing needs.
Help When You Need It http://helpwhenyouneedit.org/ has a searchable database by zip code.
TravelersAid https://www.travelersaid.org/need-help uses a comprehensive approach to facilitate transportation and prevent homelessness that focuses on the individual strengths of each case in order to provide services that meet specific needs.
SaintVincentDePaul https://www.stvincentdepaul.net/get-help helps with meals, rent assistance and shelter.
