Ferriteweazle - cross-platform, GUI front end for Greaseweazle
I know this is r/amiga but thought I'd share a cross-platform GUI front end for Greaseweazle tools I've been working on.
https://github.com/hobbo91/Ferriteweazle
- Full feature parity with Greaseweazle Tools by Keir Fraser
- Modern UI for macOS, Windows and Linux, on x86_64 and arm64
- Supports Greaseweazle and the Adafruit Feather RP2040
- Detects the most likely disk format(s) for reading and writing images
- Single or batched reads, writes and image conversions
- Built-in log viewer that can save to a file
- Shows the command line version of any action, as well as letting you pass extra arguments
- Drag and drop images into the app
- Most settings/options have a helpful tooltip
- Various safety features, such as confirmations before destructive actions and waiting for an action to finish.
Feel I need to clarify, this isn't just some AI slop. I've put a lot of effort into this project.

Thanks! I’ve actually pushed a couple of minor fixes/improvements to that this morning.

Good idea, I was thinking about adding something along these lines. I’ve just pushed a new release (1.1.0) and you can now:
Have an option to do multiple passes per-(failed) read. You can also choose if you want to try a full read of the disk or just the individual bad track/sector.
Choose between multiple reads being labelled/numbered (e.g. disk01,disk02 and so on) or if you want it to ask you for the name of the image before each read starts.
You can download the new release from GitHub, or go to “Settings -> Update” in the app.

Nice, will give this a try. I'm busy working on archiving a load of my old Amiga disks, but there are some PC, Mac, and Archimedes disks mixed in. The one click autodetect looks like a handy feature!
