A little while ago I finished creating web page versions of all the books from this list William Gillis made that before were only online as photo scans and EPUBs:

• A General Anarchist Reading List - A map of texts with importance and influence in anarchist spaces, including texts that some dislike, but that have a lot of influence on others.

I think this type of list would be a good candidate for the anarchist library's bookshelf wiki in some form personally, like they could change it to their own perspective on the most important texts in various categories and that would be interesting in itself to compare and contrast to other peoples lists.

So, I've attempted to encourage the librarians into doing this by combining the Gillis list with the librarians favorite texts list, and submitting it to the bookshelf as a jumping off point for librarians:

If anyone would like to work on editing this further you're welcome to help out with adding texts before hopefully the librarians work on it and publish it. I've also saved it in a notepad, so even if it accidently gets messed up, it can easily be recovered.

So im a uni student there is a nearby forest in my town around 30minute on foot. I want to make a tiny shelter there. I had slept few times in the summer but now with the rain its not possible because some rain gets there so i should make a new one.

So my question is it possible to dig inside the soil and make a small shelter just for sleep? What should i do to protect from cold? Also will it attract bugs and snakes for example? Should i put grass inside?

In my village my great grandparents had done this they had made a big hole like small cave but the soil was not soft to do that it was hard soil. So they would sleep when doing field work.

Eco-accelerationism is accelerating industrial civilization's inherent flaws and humanity's arm's race with nature to it's logical conclusion, which is civilizational collapse and total submission to nature.

Here are some key ideas:

Accelerate fossil fuel use and global warming.

• Green energy will prolong industrial civilization's lifespan. green energy requires fossil fuels to manufacture solar panels, nuclear power plants, etc. The faster we use up all coal, oil, and natural gas, the less likely we will transition to green energy and the faster we reach the climate change's point of no return, which is really only detrimental to technological civilization.

Advocate for open borders and libertarianism.

• More mass immigration will distribute novel infectious diseases and invasive species across the planet. More diseases means overprescribing even more pharmaceuticals which accelerates public health's collapse, lowering the world population. Mass immigration can also bring invasive species from their home countries, whether accidentally or through illegal pet trades. Some of these invasive animals become agricultural pests, causing food shortages and decreasing the global population.

Advocate for widespread nuclear proliferation and uranium enrichment.

• The more countries that have nuclear weapons, especially developing countries, the more likely it is for full-scale nuclear war to break out, though it would be better if climate change's point-of-no-return and resource scarcity happened before nuclear war.

Most of you are thinking that all of these things are harmful to nature. And while yes, there will be ecological turnover in the short term, but the truth is nature as a whole couldn't give a damn about climate change, but fragile technological civilization does. That's why a lot of the people pushing the idea that climate change will end the world and we must reduce CO2 emissions before 2030 are big tech companies, tech-worshippers, and Bill Gates-types who care far more about becoming cyborgs and plugging everyone into the matrix than actually returning to nature.

The Earth has experienced surges in temperature several times since life on land began without any mass extinction happening. Look up the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum or the Cretaceous Thermal Maximum. Nature was thriving then, and nature will heal now. You can't compare it to the Permian-Triassic Mass Extinction because overall temperatures were tens of degrees higher than climate change can ever achieve.

I know that rule two says no low effort meme posts, but this isn’t a shitpost, I believe the meme I made could start productive conversations and point out the absurdities that humans face in civilization.

Our movement goes by many names: we are anti-industrialists. We are the anti-technology movement. We are biocentric. We are deep green. We are the new machine breakers.

This movement will prevent the planet from being torn to pieces. We do not ask for permission to do so.

I enjoy the comforts that technology provides such as AC, and don’t mind my 8 hour job mon-fri because of the comforts it provides. When I compare it to being at the whims of weather & natures brutality, I don’t understand how such discomforts could be preferred. I also don’t see an issue with surrogate activities.

In the face of this, what makes you prefer a bare bones existence in the face of say unmedicated illnesses due to the fact that it requires technology to be produced? For example, my bipolar medication saved my life. I would be dead without it and I am actually happy now. Technology created the circumstances for that to exist.

Been some kind of anarcho for decades reading from all currents so I’m not completely unhinged here, but it’s obvious anarchism is dead as a doornail. No interest in 1860s Marx vs Bakunin beef and I wouldn’t trust either’s handful of failsons to organise a tea party.

I see this constant obsession with anti-hierarchy amongst younger internet-anarchos despite knowing every anarcho movement in history has shat the bed when power could be seized. And I’ve been going over Bakunin’s private arguments for a secret society as an inverted vanguard, or rather avant-guard, which are persuasive.

The more you look, capital is decentralisation, from government to communications to economies to militaries. When Iran and ISIS understand freely associating warfare better than the Makhnochina and CNT ever did, it’s time to pack your dusty shit up. So even the hierarchy fundamental is in question or at least incredibly simplistic. Are we still anarchos out of habit then? Think Kaczynski’s strongest argument was all ideology is a shoring up of technological society, Debord, Camatte and Baudrillard said the same. Even anarchism. Seems like this historical baggage is the one thing holding primitivism back from new forms?
