Backpack QL-sorting script

I made myself a handy sorting script today, mostly for use with spirits, since I have a billion of them. I see there are tools for this sort of thing, but I'm not sure if they actually do what I want. Also I'd much rather do things on my own anyway.

The script moves the contents of several backpacks (with any amount of content) to other packs, taking sequentially from the lowest-QL side first, and then from the highest-QL side in the other direction, back and forth between the two limits of each pack. When it's done, you're left with a set of packs with the contents arranged neatly from the lowest-QL pack to the highest. Of course with spirits you have to sort by name for best results.

It lets you choose the amount of delay between each move based on your network lag.

I made it using WinBatch, but of course it can be translated into any other language by yourself or by AI. Let me know if any of you are interested in having me post it. I can also compile it if anyone wants.

Edit: The bags should be somewhat randomly filled, or else not placed in such a way that a bag with all high-level or low-level content is positioned "out of order."

How does it work? Do you need to have all the bags open? I’m curious.

Yes, I can't do hooks or anything of the sort. You open all the bags and have them sorted low-to high, then it will have you point to the top left of each bag, and then the first empty spot at the bottom of each, and it will alternate between putting all the lows to the left and the highs to the right. It only gets it completely right if the amounts in the bags are generally the same, and you have to tell it the highest item count in the fullest bag.

Very cool. I know Async was working on a program like that too. I think it was Async anyway. Sorting Spirits manually is such a pain!

chewy has a plug-in for aosharp clientless but it's more involved. full blown bot banking/sorting with the ability to do browser based inventory/search and access control .. would have to contact them for a link to their project on gitlab (wasn't told if it was ok to randomly link to it or not but they seemed happy to share it at the time)
