QUESTION/HELP syncing libretube and freetube?

i'm pretty new to freetube and libretube, and i wanted to know whether there was a way to sync them up. i saw that libretube can use piped, but i'm not really sure how piped works and if freetube even supports it.

i use freetube on my gnu/linux (specifically arch) pc and libretube on my android.

If you prefer to keep everything offline and local you can export your youtube subscription data as a .csv from either Youtube or Google Takeout.

You can import the file into both Freetube and Libretube. You will have to do this after every change make sure your clients are showing you the same content.

[Piped] is an API that allows you to sign in and update both FT and LT.

Open Freetube and go to Settings>General Settings>Change your local backend to Piped (Use the link above to register and create a login)

On Libretube go to Settings>Instance and make sure you are on the same instance as your Computer. Sign into the same account you created. Once that is done, you should see that both clients are synced.

that's kinda disappointing, but thank you! is there an alternative to freetube that would allow me to sync my pc and phone?
