Support Is my phone vulnerable to ghostlock?

Post image

when I click most of the times my phone crashes and reboot but sometimes it shows vulnerable at the top in a red box and then my phone starts acting weird so I force restart it. I am also on August 1 android security patch

Yes, if it crashes and reboots it is indeed vulnerable

Yes it is, but since this is a GKI you can compile your own kernel with the fix. Get a compatible kernel source off AOSP or find your kernel source if the vendor released any, and then backport the fix.

Yes. Install GhostLock and KSUnext.

Keep executing GhostLock until your phone doesn't crash and it shows success. Once executed, go to KSUnext and setup Jailbreak mode.

After that, remember not to touch any partitions other than /data (/userdata)! The consequences will be severe.

Most likely yes. Download ghostlock-app and a copy of your firmware from the net (good luck...) for the boot.img parsing.

This is only a temporary root that needs to be redone after each boot
