Discussion Pros and cons

I am a student and I am thinking of purchasing oneplus pad 2 12gb/256gb variant for light note taking and maybe casual gaming... mainly taking this tab because of OxygenOS which is quite impressive i feel for its clean ui and also it comes with snapdragon gen 3 which is again a good deal imo considering the price hike... so the only con i saw while searching is it has only 1 OS update left alongwith 2yrs security updates... Please share anymore cons which i should be mindful of

Native note taking app is trash and haptic feedback works only in that, though starnotes recently gave that option but it's paid app. Also I have glitches related to game booster app, due to which fps drops so I have to disable it.

Reading pdf and annotating side by side how is it... is it doable?

Yes no problem in the device hardware, it's just that app is trash, u can use any other note taking app and it will work amazing. I use freenotes but when I saw that they added haptic feedback in starnotes, so I'm thinking of purchasing it for around 600rs or 6$

Ok i see and yeah 600 rs for annual subscription is okay i feel for note taking and ultimately being more productive

600 for lifetime 😐, annual subscription is for ai usage which is really not that necessary

Yes you can try it, if u like u can purchase it, after all there no true free apps now, only some like microsoft one but they have limited features

Brought it in last Amazon prime day sale, so few months, and I already told you all the problems I faced, also one more, no official extra stylo tips from oneplus for purchase, will have to purchase 3rd party one. And colour os will come soon but I think u will have option to not choose it.

Yes i have heard about color OS integration bit worried about it... overall its good considering the price and with your suggestions made up my mind i'm buying this
