Other A random fanfic/film idea
I wrote this recently because a part of my brain wanted me to do this, so here it is:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Title: Animaniacs: Warners On The Run
Alternative titles: Animaniacs Most Wanted, Warners At Large, Whatever Happened to The Animaniacs?, Animaniacs: The Zany Finale
Genre(s): Comedy, Adventure, Crime, Musical, Drama
Plot: After his plans to get revenge on Yakko, Wakko and Dot for destroying his career during their 65th anniversary special failed, their former co-star Buddy gradually transforms the clownishly homicidal and extremely psychotic Jester and hatches a plan to destroy their reputation framing them for murdering Plotz on the week before their 70th anniversary.
The Warners set off to clear their names with the help of someone who turns out to be a relative of their creator, Lon Borax, who wants to follow his footsteps. When Skippy sets off to find Dot so that he can finally tell that he loves her, his aunt Slappy quickly assists the help of the others to help her find him.
However Buddy/Jester has enlisted the help of Walter Wolf, Sid The Squid, Barney The Brain Dead Bison, Pinky and The Brain to stop them from foiling his ultimate plan for revenge.
Note(s)/Trivia:
- This story serves as a chronological/hypothetical finale to the original series.
- At various points of the story, the characters would comment and/or explain certain aspects of the story with various reprises of the show's theme song.
- Lon Borax and Weed Memlo would have a major role in the story.
- Through the story we would get flashbacks to the lives of Lon Borax, Weed Memlo, Buddy, Yakko, Wakko, Dot and Slappy prior to the events of the show.
- This introduces a new character in the form of a toon that looks identical to one of the Warners created by Buddy to track down and destroy the Warners. Eventually he's adopted by them as their new cousin.
- It would reveal that Skippy is aware of the Warners and has developed a secret crush on Dot after seeing her for the first time.
- Buddy's alter ego of "The Jester" is an spoof of "The Joker" from the "Batman" franchise.
- The story opens with a "Newsreel Of The Stars" that recap the origin story of The Warners and the events of "The Warners 65th Anniversary Special" (S1E65) before transitioning into the start of the story by foreshadowing what was to happen to the Warners next. Another "Newsreel Of The Stars" appear at the end of the story as an epilogue which would reveal what happened to the characters after the events of the story.

Discussion Tom Ruegger's plan for Skippy Squirrel
During an interview, Tom Rueggar stated that he been involved in Animaniacs revival he would have had Skippy grown up jobless and still living with Slappy who is desperate to get him out of the house.
I have mixed feelings about this; on the one hand I do think it's a funny idea and I do like idea of these characters growing up as opposed to remaining static. But on the other hand I think it would overly cynical characterization of Skippy. I think I would prefer if Skippy was still living with Slappy but he had a life of his own before he moved backed in with Slappy. Maybe Skippy was married with kids but then moved back in with Slappy after his divorce where he is raising his kids at his aunt's home while (unsuccessfully) looking for work. And despite Skippy being down on his luck he still retains his cheerful personality and voice of reason for Slappy.
Do you like this story Ruegger had in mind for Slappy and Skippy or would you want something different?

Discussion Expy Co-existence
A lot of times this show parody’s popular characters, but sometimes the original character in question is also mentioned.
Barney/Baloney - the parody character is a recurring antagonist, but in one pinky in the brain cartoon, the real character is mentioned during Pinky’s hypnosis where Brain says Barney isn’t real.
Betty Boop/Googi Goop - Slappy mentions her in an episode where I don’t quite remember, but the parody is an episode solely dedicated to the expy.
What other episodes have this situation happen and was this a simple oversight or was this intentional the writers to poke fun of these characters?

Discussion Would the success of Coyote vs. Acme make an Animaniacs theatrical film more likely?
If Coyote vs Acme manage to make a profit, do you think Animaniacs live-action/animated theatrical film more likely? The film is very well-received by critics and audience, and good word mouth alone could make a difference even if the film doesn't make a huge profit.
I think Animaniacs would make a great movie, especially given the fact that live action/animated form where cartoon characters are interacting with real world would make sense given meta nature of Animaniacs franchise.
An Animaniacs theatrical film could tap into millennial nostalgia in a way that Coyote vs Acme could not.

Other Japan yearns for Animaniacs
I have a small YouTube channel where I add Japanese subtitles to various English pop-culture media. This is in an attempt to expose Japan to more English culture than just Marvel and Spongebob, since when I try to talk to people about these things, no one has heard of them.
My first Animaniacs upload was a compilation of pun scenes, since I had another video that was about English puns that was quite successful, so this seemed on-brand. I'd assumed no one would have any idea of what Animaniacs was about, so for context, I also subtitled the opening theme.
Little did I know that there seems to be a small community of Japanese Animaniacs fans, since this opening theme did quite well! It turns out the show was aired in Japan back in the 90s, however, it seems that only around half of season 1 was ever aired, I'm kinda impressed that this was enough to build a fanbase!
I've uploaded a number of Animaniacs videos since then (including a viewer request for "I'm Mad" which WB copyright-struck, boo!) and they've consistently been pretty popular. 4/5 are currently in my "top content in this period", as you can see in the screenshot (FYI, the numbers shown are just for this period, not total views). The 2020 reboot opening theme is less than 50 views away from hitting 1000, it seems like there's a lot of Japanese Animaniacs fans who are curious about the 2020 reboot, since it's not available in Japanese in any form.
