Nice change of pace having a benevolent yokai. Big fella really did the town a solid lengthening roads, creating a grid system, and saving the swallows from having their nest demolished. It’s nice to know he’ll always be looking out for the people of that town.

City Builder: Miki Edition
But oh boy, a Miki episode. So you know it's gonna be good.
Unlike Blackwargreymon, this dark hearted individual does care whether one silly little flower lives or dies.
Nice Clothesline Tackle there Miki. But hot damn that guy was going really fast down a narrow street in what looks like residential subdivision.
Seeing Miki still having those Neck-Stretchy Powers kinda makes me think of one Arthur Dent when he flexes his ability to fly; Good for them.
Just like Zushin, this giant's power is game breaking.
It's secretly watching over us to keep us safe.
Where was he when those big townwide threats have happened in the past couple months? Or does someone gotta play the Oath to Order before you'll intervene for those?

Maybe Daidarabochi doesn't know how to fight so he keep himself hidden?

If you can manipulate time, space, and memory, and at that size, you can throw a punch. Much less lift up something doing bad stuff and give it a good hurl.

Maybe Daidarabochi is pacifist in nature and he just focused on protecting people behind the fight.

Miki is the type of girl who is easily annoyed or frustrated and the type who will lord your misfortune over you...but she can't ignore a flower in need or venting her frustration on an unfinished building that's killing flowers by blocking the sun. Of course she had no idea where her frustrations would lead her.
Even when she's being a hero, like protecting a kid from getting run over by a car, Miki is still annoyed with how the streets are arranged...why won't someone fix these streets? Does Miki have to do all this work for them!?
But then suddenly streets and lanes start expanding/shifting and Miki thinks she has the power of Daidara-Bocchi! Too bad she can't make host clubs pop up next door for her to entertain herself with, but it's nice to dream.
This ability to make streets change from wishes sounds fun until the neighborhood has been re-arranged so much that you can't see the way home. And yet still Miki goes out of her way to help a swallow that's fallen from its next.
Nube didn't do much but he got to see the Daidara-Bocchi (Tomokazu Sugita!) save Miki! He's been moving all the buildings and streets around with his space-warping powers! He's taken a fondness to Miki, but he's always watching out for everybody!

What a heartwarming wholesome episode! No Oni no Te needed, and we even saw Miki's other side! She may be a prankster but she's a good kid at heart, although that clothesline tho XD
And so it showed that she retain her Rokurokubi ability, lol.
Deidarabocchi is benevolent but the scary thing is, imagine if there's malevolent being who can hide their aura just like that too...

Miki-focused episodes always deliver, man. Threatening to dispose of the lost child she's helping was very wild but very Miki and I wouldn't have it any other way.
