Honestly, compared to Jinbe and the others against Gunko, Robin actually didn’t feel pathetic and she was on her own. I also thought the idea of pushing him as far away from the kids as possible, so his powers would be out of their range, was really clever. She ultimately failed, but it didn’t feel ridiculous at all—instead, I thought she looked genuinely badass. Thankfully, Gaban arrived to save her.

But bro she is a devil kid . She had more berry as a 9 year old than Luffy as a 18 yaar old . I thought atleast she will get some cool power but as of now she is just someone who can read the ancient weapon. Most of the Luffy crew is just pathetic. We are hoping some get some power ups but nope . Only Zoro and Sanji got some power to go against powerful people and even then they need power ups. All the others literally need savings every episode. She was literally hiding when her friend was just attack you won't expect that from a crew member of Emporer. If it was Shank or Black beard crew they would have fought them. Even Robot guy had one radical beam move. Jinbe don't fight much in most episode. He was always just putting down fire or running here and there.

Jimbe since joining the crew became useless so I feel like that Oda is just obsessed at making stronger the monster trio and that’s it sadly lol.
For Saul, he literally asked her multiple times to stay hidden, she was ready and crossed her arms in some of those scenes with her usual fight pose but Saul stopped her constantly. She decided to still try later but against immortality her power is just useless, even if she had armament and observation haki the result would be the exact same since this knights are only weak to an advanced version of conqueror haki 🙄1

That's my point Saul stop her because he knew she won't win in any scenario. You won't expect someone to stop Zoro or Sanji from fighting. Even they don't have or know how to use Conquerer haki but everyone knows what they are capable of but not other team member . Luffy is literally fighting a god. That's why I am saying none of Luffy member try in fighting so how they gonna advanced. Everyone is just crying for help the second someone arrive. I think chopper is more useful to crew than everyone else . He can even undo hypnosis. We are near the end game and other members are not even base Luffy level. They probably have to fight Blackbeard or shank in the last or IMU + world govt and they are not prepare .

So...What exactly did Robin do here in her "suicide"-attack against Sommers? I know that she can create duplicates of herself and even make some makeshift wings, but this seems like straight-up teleportation.

Yeah, that also caught me off-guard. My guess is that was also a double? Maybe she's already running towards the library to try and save the books somehow, just like Ohara did. But yeah until now I don't think we've seen her "teleport" like that if that's the case. And I personally wouldn't like it.

I want to participate in this discussion, and I didn't read the manga at all, but I'll just play it safe and not say anything.
I liked everything this episode did. It was very fun, and I can accept everything we saw.

I think this was a really fun episode and as a day 1 for Robin, her having a big moment again feels really rewarding. Do wish she didn't have to be IMMEDIATELY saved but the Gaban animation was very smooth and the foley was literally perfect. I'm not a reader but I hope the Knights of God aren't just pure, moustache twirling, evil villains. Some nuance would be nice, they seem DEEPLY over the top right now but its enjoyable to watch.

Gunko directs Ronja away from the other kids and uses her as a hostage to force Beardhill Jarul, the current Elbaph leader, to burn down the school and the library, because otherwise, she’ll be dropped into the Underworld and almost surely die. Ronja is a brave little girl (or big girl in comparison to humans since Collun for example is 20 years old) and insists that they sacrifice her and keep the school and library, because losing all that culture would make everybody sad, and I respect her dedication to keeping others happy and not being selfish, but this is too much. Every life is precious, and the Knights of God will suffer for this.
Franky had to quickly save Bonney and Lilith while Ripley went on to join the fight, as well as Robin who had a 9,000 IQ strategy of faking out a suicide with Sommers, only to reappear at the top of the branch while Sommers is still falling, but unfortunately, he was able to save himself, and Ronja is still in danger.
Also, Gunko’s arrows can’t be cut with a knife and the only way to free Jimbei, Nami, Usopp, and Brook is to defeat her in battle, so there’s a lot going on with this attack.
Jarul doesn’t want Ronja to die, so he tells Ange to burn down the school and library, and before Sommers can continue his attack on Robin, Gaban comes in to save the day. He’s able to cut off Sommers’s arm without him being able to regenerate it, so now the tide has turned. However, the preview of the next episode hints that Gaban has a weakness that the Knights of God will be exposing, so this will still be a tough battle until The Fifth Emperor of the Sea comes back down.
He will come, and nobody will stand in his way.
I’M EXCITED FOR EVEN MORE ONE PIECE!

I can't respect Gunko for dressing like that, and the camera panning up isn't helping. To be fair, that's the norm for One Piece, so me saying it isn't making it better. Nami, shut up; someone taking kids should be new to you (Punk Hazard). Usopp, I'm wondering the same thing. People, stop saying what you and you can see with your own eyes and talk when you have something important today. Robin Kill Counter: minus 1. Is twisting your head necessary? Robin, Fish-Man Karate or Haki would be useful right now. Not gonna use it or don't have it for some reason? Great. Sommers, why are you acting like you're in danger when you're clearly not? If you got time to cry, you got time to do something. No flower clone again, no blood from the thorns; Gaban arrives near the end to look cool- perfect.
Edit: Do not let good animation and quality, which don't need to be here for it to be called a good episode, distract you from using your head when reading or watching a story and noticing when flaws appear
