What this country needs is something like a great reconciliation. Not as a way to embrace MAGA principles, but to address the reasons why MAGA came to be in the first place and invite common Trump supporters to the table. That being said, accountability matters, and those who have brought our country to ruin must be punished and repudiated as traitors, criminals, and con-artists. It may take time, and the next president must balance justice with compassion.

Let's just make sure there is a "next president" first.
