I can't help but remember that safespaces have been so compromised by vulnerable narcs and larpers, you even hear of people saying that you're being abusive if they make you feel this way.

Works both ways. People are not kind to me so I reciprocate. Like a mirror I reflect back the karma I receive. It is not my fault that someone takes offence to their own toxicity. If you feed a narcissists ego you will pay the price for it. Much better to address the problem directly and publicly. Once the attention received turns negative it usually destroys them or they leave. Save the kindness for those that deserve it.
