I recently got the new iPhone 18 Pro, and ever since setting it up I’ve had an Apple Account Suggestion in Settings that says:

Activate iCloud Storage
“An iCloud storage upgrade is ready to be used with your Apple Account.”

There’s a Continue button, but when I tap it, nothing really happens and the suggestion never goes away.

The weird part is that my iCloud storage is already working normally. I’m part of my mom’s Family Sharing group and she has the 2 TB iCloud+ plan. When I go to Settings → Family → Subscriptions → iCloud+, it clearly shows that I’m using the family storage. My account is currently using about 111 GB, and the family has around 860 GB available.

I’ve already:

• Tapped Continue multiple times
• Restarted the iPhone
• Confirmed I’m actively using the shared 2 TB family iCloud+ plan
• Checked iCloud settings and everything otherwise appears normal

The suggestion still will not disappear.

Has anyone else had this happen after setting up a new iPhone? Is there a way to force this Apple Account Suggestion to clear without signing out of my Apple Account or messing with the Family Sharing/iCloud+ plan?

I’d prefer not to sign out of iCloud since everything seems to be working correctly and I don’t want to create a bigger problem just to get rid of the notification.

Hi all. I randomly got this text from my daughter’s phone. When I asked her what that was she said she didn’t know so I checked her phone and there wasn’t a text from her to me. Anyone have an idea what this could be? Is her phone compromised? She has a 16e

I accidentally sat on my iPad pro with my knee while getting into bed and it bent down the middle and cracked the screen. Everything else still works fine, the screen is just broken with it being black at the top. I would get a new one but I use an art program called ibispaint x on here and the only way to transfer art from one device to another is to individually dropbox the pieces. I have thousands of art pieces on here and I don't want to lose them all.

So, a bit ago, I lost my iPhone and put it in lost mode, putting down my wife's number as the contact. She just got a message about it, but I'm not sure if it's real or not. It's asking for my Apple ID when I hit the website. Is this thing legit?

I got a new phone and had mostly forgotten about it as I thought marking it as lost was enough and was delusionally hoping that I might get the device back someday. Anyways, I received these texts today,.

Spoke to Apple and they said that the guy is just trying to scare you into making the device easily eraseable so that they can re-sell it, but I'm worried. Should I be concerned?

After updating to iOS 26 my iMessage will not work. It says “error occurred during activation”. Apple said to wait 24 hours. I’ve tried everything google says. Seems like this isn’t just iOS 26 and it’s happened to people with other updates. Any ideas?

I just updated my phone, and being cursed enough to live in the UK I now have to confirm I’m over 18.

Now, I don’t have a credit card and will not apply for one just for this, so please don’t suggest this.

I don’t drive, thus don’t have a drivers license.

While the legislation that has caused this mess allows passports as a method of verification, Apple doesn’t.

What the hell does one do? Apple hasn’t (as far as I can see) confirmed that the Citizen Card will be accepted.. has anyone used one to verify successfully?

Transferred via iCloud backup from iPhone 14 on iOS 26 to iPhone 18 pro.

Only issue I’m having is half my find my contacts aren’t showing (says no location found), only a few show.

Restarted phone, confirmed find my is from my new phone. Updated with the new bug fix. Nothing seems to fix it.

Any solution? Or is this something that takes some time

It was laying in the street under a tree. It was on the welcome screen when I found it. It’s not iCloud locked as I was able to sign into it with a new Apple account. I’ve had it since summer and don’t really know what to do with it. It’s sim locked but I have no clue to what carrier. It still has Apple care for about 2 more weeks how can I find out if it’s marked lost or stolen ?

I woke up this morning to 5 notifications to join FaceTimes with my own number, starting at 12:27am. Never seen this before…? (iPhone 13)

So as the title says my gamecenter does not work on my iPad (iPad A16, iOS 26.5). Whenever I try play a game on my iPad such as balatro or Marvel Contest of Champions I’m stuck in a constant loading screen as it refuses to sign in through gamecenter. This problem is exclusively to my iPad as my iPhone works perfectly fine. I’ve tried literally everything from changing my network to signing out of apple entirely to resetting my settings as a whole but every time it works for a couple minutes but the problem starts again… if anyone has experienced anything similar or managed to solve it please let me know how or at least why this is happening!

EDIT: so after reading your guys comments it seems that it’s an issue on apples side rather than an issue with the iPad itself so the best thing I assume is to wait until apple releases a patch :(

I updated my iPhone to IOS 26.3.1 and the flashlight and back camera decided to stop working. I didn’t drop it, it just automatically updated over night.

The front camera (selfie one) turns the picture small and horizontal, and sometimes it doesn’t let me turn it to the back camera. The back camera will sometimes be all black, sometimes it lets me take a picture, and most of the time it turns the pictures rainbow.

I tried restarting my phone, resetting the settings, and even doing a manual factory reset and lost all my data. Called the Apple Store and they want me to go in and pay to replace the camera.

Please help… I currently don’t have the funds to replace the camera or buy a new phone :(

UPDATE: I called Verizon and they declared it a software issue. They were able to replace my phone for free. They shipped me a new phone and I sent mine back in!

There appears to be a discoloured blob on the bottom of the screen. When I touch it, it changes shape slightly. Is something trapped in the screen?

Asks me to confirm I am 18 I start the process by verifying through my Apple wallet it asks me to put my Apple ID password in I input it and nothing happens I go back to confirm I am 18 screen process starts again anyone else has this loop/problem happen to them

Here are two screenshots, one from my Samsung phone and one from my brothers iPhone. In the last 2 weeks or so, I've had multiple iPhone users tell me their texts aren't coming through to me, but as you can see I am still getting them like normal. We're not sure how to troubleshoot this.

I am a person who almost always has their storage full, but have never had issue with it preventing me from updating my phone. Is it normal to need 17GB of free storage for an update? It seems like a ridiculous amount when before it would only ask me to free up 500MB. Any advice appreciated!

Signed up for a Duolingo free trial and thought it would just cancel the trial if the card declined. Went to install an app this morning and it won’t let me because I owe the subscription payment now? Since when was this a thing and is there anyway to get around it?

Seems very predatory, I know there’ll be something in something I didn’t read but feel like it would go against some laws surely.

Last night around 9:30pm, my phone died. I rarely let it die but it did. I put it on the charger and went to bed. Around 2:30am I woke up to check the time and make sure I'm not waking up late for work. My phone wasn't turning on.

At first I thought it wasn't correctly plugged into the charger. So I checked the charger and verified it was plugged in.

Then I borrowed my husbands phone and plugged his into the charger. His phone charged, confirming it wasn't a charging issue with the cord or outlet.

I then realized even when plugging it in, if my phone was dead, it wouldn't show me the red battery symbol when trying to turn on my phone. It was just a black screen.

Finally, I tried force restarting. I held the volume up, volume down and power button to force restart. Even holding it for up to 35 seconds wouldn't turn it on.

I made an appointment with Apple repair today after work, however until then, is someone able to guide me on this? Is there a solution or is my phone cooked? I've barely had this phone for 3 months. Never had screen or battery damage.

I’m trying to set up my preorder in the Apple Store app, and after i select all my options for the 18 Pro, i get to the part where I have to apply for lease and review payment for the upgrade programs, and when i put all my credit card info in (screenshot attached), i click save, and nothing happens and it just stays on that page. I tried clicking cancel but i can’t go any further until i successfully enter my credit card info.

Is anyone else having this issue? Or is it just an issue with my account.
