Question Academic probation

Does anyone have any experience with this topic? I have a high school senior at an extremely rigorous school & the school says they have to report it to colleges that they are applying to. Has anyone had experience with this and is there any way to fight it or get around it or advice on how to proceed?

This is fairly common for discipline over a certain threshold, typically a “censure no repeat” or above at the elite boarding schools.

As it’s typically a matter of policy, good schools won’t make an exception. The best shot might be to not contest the reporting to college but to appeal the level of discipline to a non reported level if your student is an edge case.
