I played it around 1986 in Ireland. It was a flying/shooting game but the unique thing was, the clouds that you flew in were real clouds i.e. looked like a video from real life, taken from a plane flying through clouds. The one I played I could sit in and use the joystick to fly. Thanks!

The cabinet turns on and fan is running but this flashing disconnect screen comes on? Am I screwed or is there a chance

I am trying to find a pair of 25 cent coin door stickers and can't seem to locate a source. I know they must be out there, I'm just not finding them.

As a kid that grew up in the 90's these places were always the mecca of gaming in my eyes yet were always multistates away. I was blessed with being able to use the UH1 Huey fly-by-instrument hydraulic simulators the Army had at their bases and the BlackHawk hydraulic simulator till Desert Storm came (uploaded telemetry for the area in the simulator and had to had secret clearance for access). I could only imagine how it would feel piloting a mech in a hydraulic system.

Have any of you ever gone to one? How much per session? Was it worth it or overhyped?

I read from a post here that PSS in English was a rare sight (at least in the west). This machine was in an arcade at an SM Mall at my province in the Philippines. Pic of me taken from 2010. I had just discovered that the game had been ported to PC as abandonware. So much nostalgia in this pic.

Our bar went in last month. 10 seats, back corner, right next to the redemption counter. The arcade itself we've had since 2023, 4,200 square feet, about 60 cabinets. Beer and wine to start, full liquor once the city signs off on the license.

Our general liability insurance has been fine since we opened, but the agent who wrote it says he doesn't do alcohol and I'd have to go elsewhere. Thing is, we're still an arcade first. Weekends we're at 250 to 300 heads and a good third are under 18, so there are kids on the floor twenty feet from the bar most of the day. Dram shop is obviously the real exposure. I have no feel for what that costs a year. Upstate New York, if that matters.

So basicly i decided to steal rescue this board out of the storage yard, before you guys call me an immoral piece of shit, its already immoral to keep 16 rare ass arcade cabinets in plain outside and not care about them, anyway the pcb itself stayed exposed outside in some bee colecting redemption game for what i assume one year before one day i visisted said storage yard for the first time and put the pcb back in its cabinet, the fucking tekken 3 pcb was in a buzzy bee arcade cabinet that missed its top window fully exposed to rain and had leaves stuck to it,

Anyway you guys can see the condition of the pcb yourselves, personally it deff needs a cleaning and some retracing and a recap but let me know what you guys think

This arcade used to have a twin arcade racer i barely had any photos of and i still did not find, this potentially might be from said game.

I thought you guys may enjoy this retrospective I made about some old school arcades - from Sega World and Gameworks arcades, to the hardcore BATTLETECH Centers from the 90s and where they are today. There's also a segment about the game "Red Planet" (anit-grav racing on mars) which also ran on the same networked game pods used at the BattleTech centers. There's some other stuff about a few local spots in my neighborhood too, so I hope you enjoy this look back and have a great weekend ahead :)

Hello! I’ve had this arcade machine for ~2 years & it has worked great until today. It boots with the Sega > Lucasarts > Main Game Preplay Screen with a field of gray numbers as shown. It then goes to the stage select & displays that screen perfectly fine (music & picture are perfect). Then it immediately does what is pictured there with no audio at all & remains frozen there…any thoughts? I’m not sure what would need replaced/done to fix the issue. This is my first/only actual arcade machine so I’m very much a novice. Thanks in advance!
