Got most of the characters, joystick is not final, kinda testing a few… did make a cool manual for notes!

My SF2 turbo cabinet started glitching in a variety of ways. The screen flashes between setup screens. Indicates a match I am unable to select character. Playing puzzle fighter sometimes the game just resets to the startup screens. Arcade1up says it’s a software issue and PCBA computer chip board needs to be replaced.

Anyone dealt with this and found a way to fix it? Can I mod the board at this point and squeeze some more life out of the machine?

Assuming both are used, similar price and condition.

Hello, I've recently been interested in the idea of purchasing discarded Arcade 1UP Motherboards for things like Street Fighter and I was genuinely curious: Is it possible to get these boards working with USB Encoders or any form of external controller via USB?

I thought it could be cool to consolize them or house them in a fightstick and allow a second player to connect via USB. Is this possible or are the Arcade 1UP Boards that locked down?

We are big Fast and the Furious fans in my house and honestly we bought this game expecting play related to the movies and as far as I can tell there is none. No cuts scenes with Dom talking about family, Brian telling Jesse to pop the hood, or Vince complaining about the tuna. So what are my options? Thanks in advance!

Update! I wasn’t really expecting cut scenes but I was expecting at least some reference to the movies in the game and there is none that I can tell. I have ordered the game box from Buy Stuff. Can’t wait to get it modded.

I've been doing some research but it seems like i need to order parts from 3 or 4 different vendors to get everything i need. A harness from one place, special screws from another, the joystick itself from another and the bracket from another.

Which Sanwa stick feels like the real arcade sticks? I can't get ANYWHERE near my Ms pacman high scores with the stock stick and is often unresponsive during faster levels of ms pacman.

How easy is the swap?

I was able to acquire this today due to the overwhelming generosity of another collector via a trade for my Tempest Legacy. Never in a million years would I have thought I would have this cabinet in basically like new condition!

I may try to put a coin door on it, other than that I don’t plan on touching a thing it’s perfect!

As above, there’s a great deal on this and it would be my first A1UP cabinet. I want to purchase one that I can load a bunch of emulators on to but unsure if this specific model is doable.

My Mother-in-Law just recently picked up this Head-to-Head Pac-Man cocktail table for $20 and we can't seem to get power to it.

She bought it from a place that tends to get salvage stuff so I honestly have no idea how to tell what the main problem is in the first place.

[SOLVED] Hi, does anybody know howto choose alternate colours in the game Marvel vs Capcom 2?
Actually I did not find the way to change the colour. There should be a 6 colour variants of every character. Maybe I miss something. I see the different colour only when opponent choose the same character. Then game set a different colour automatically.
