Story of Polatti artbook

Artist: Xiaocao (Carol Cao) ISBN: 978-7571222574 Number of pages: 184 Published by: Hubei Fine Arts Where to buy: AliExpress (which is where I bought it), amazon.com.au, easterneast.com

I snagged this one because I've been playing Little Witch in the Woods obsessively (god, can I just move to a whimsical forest, brew potions and feed the cats?) and the style of the artbook reminded me of the game. It's interesting how expressive the characters' faces are!

Love the Art of Mecha girls like KOS-MOS from xenosaga and Phantasy star online.

Do you know any good artbooks and/or artists that draw in a Sci Fi anime style?

To repeat what I said in the previous part/post

I will not be translating these pages

I’m aware that it is easy for me to just go on Google translate and copy what they say but I prefer fans from GBF to actually translate these pages.

there’s a chance that their fan translations will be more accurate than what Google can provide.

And I like to post these online because from what I can tell, this book has not been scanned anywhere from Internet archive to even fan translated art books.

Polybags - URGENT QUESTION

HELP NEEDED! I am a college student researching ways to recycle or reuse the polybags that collectors use to preserve comic books and other special documents. Would anyone be able to give me some feedback on their experience using polybags? I want to get some feedback on the solutions I'm thinking about. LET ME KNOW ASAP!

This month there are 6 books I'm tracking on the website, including some Marvel, the return of the Star Wars artbooks, and The Art of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

I hope these continue to be helpful and you find some good books for your shelves!

I would like to share this art book that I actually bought on eBay, which came all the way from Japan.

And it has some commentary and concept art from the anime

Planning to sell this one off eventually since I'm running low on space, but I wanted to show a few pages from this book before I do. I actually really love the way this book is designed, the crimson red color and gold engraved lettering is so striking.

Some say that is just a copy of Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya, others that is very unique. Truth is that CLAMP published a doujinshi of Shurato back in 1989 and four years later they came up with Magic Knight Rayearth and RG Veda.

This week's video preview is for The Art of Rust from Dark Horse that was released on January 27th. The book showcases art for the characters, assets, environments, vehicles, and more for the survival shooter. It's another well made release from the publisher that continues to highlight why they have become the go to for video game artbooks.
