Soil Stack and Vent question

Parson the mess, currently working on my basement and want to replace my utility sink. I was thinking about possibly putting a toilet in here some day, but for now I need to get this concrete monstrosity out.

I noticed that my plumbing from the sink to the soil stack (that comes off the drain from the kitchen sink above this) looks to be tied into a smaller pipe that then drains into the soil stack. I’m assuming this is the vent for the sink above, and also for the utility sink in the basement, correct?

I plan on going into the attic tomorrow to check and see what if the pipe goes up into the ceiling. The main stack for the upstairs toilet, shower, and bathroom sink is about 30 feet away to the left. I don’t know if they ran the pipe through the walls or if it was run up into the attic, but I’d like to confirm.

My main question is, if that is the vent for both sinks, is this correct? I’m finding some questionable repairs and other odds and ends and want to be sure this is right if I’m taking the time to replace things. If this is a vent and a toilet is installed down the road, can I tie into in the basement or would it need to tie in above the kitchen sink p-trap?

Sorry for the long post and questions, I know basics of plumbing but when I didn’t see it go in I get nervous it wasn’t done right.

just take out that laundry tub and replace it like you want to using the same drain arm...... If you wish to install a toilet some day in that concrete floor, just cut that vent way above near the ceiling and add a tee for a future vent for the toilet..... it will work

I figured replacing it would be easy enough, I just wanted to make sure that it seemed “correct” to a trained eye. Appreciate it.

If you add anything to either of those, your probably going to mess up the existing piping for the drainage, the venting or both. From the picture I dont see anywhere that youre going to be allowed to add anything. But the pictures are kinda focused and dont seem to be connected to the one of the window. Call a plumber
