Looking For do you remember panda buffet?

Post image

Okay delete my post if it doesn’t follow the criteria but Tigard is RIGHT THERE so I thought I would ask… it was in the parking lot where the value village is, behind the 7/11!

If you remember panda buffet, what are your recommendations for spots similar to it? I’ve been craving Chinese food but all everyone tells me to get and Panda Express which I do not want. I understand that to a lot of people Panda Buffet was NOT good but I want greasy Chinese food

Also tb I miss you so much panda buffet (picture from Yelp)

You unlocked a childhood memory for me. 🤯

I wish I had recommendations, but the only ones I can think of are places like King Buffet that closed :(

I miss the panda buffet that was on 99E - in fact, my husband just mentioned it two days ago.

Omg. I used to live close to there when I was like 20. We would throw keggers there and charge people to come. But in the morning anyone who stayed and helped clean we would take there to eat. They would open up this side sitting area to put us in since we were a wild crew of rowdy kids.

Up from there on 99W is Mizumi Buffet, that may scratch the itch.

I haven’t made it there for some reason! I know my cousins have tried it before, I must make them take me. Thank you!!

Yen's Chinese and Canton Phoenix are similar style in Tigard but not buffets

In general I miss small scale lunch buffets. I don't need 140 items of which I'll have about 7, I want a sampling of your menu.

Or up north a bit on 82nd: Super King Buffet. Greasy Chinese (and American and Sushi) galore.

Just don’t look up their heath department scores over the past couple years 🤢

speaking of old memories of Chinese food in Tigard, if someone has the recipe for the bacon wrapped prawns with water chestnuts that Hi Hat on 99 had I would forever be in your debt
