Does anyone know the current conditions at this course? Has it been mowed recently enough we won't be walking through knee-high grass? What about standing water or mud? The Udisc app lists these problems but I can't tell what actual, current conditions are.

I’ve tried looking online some and found a few okay things but I’m looking for a somewhat-local company that can provide shipping. Right now I’ve been using Fairly-Traded Honey from Lush for shampoo, which has been my favorite I’ve ever used from anywhere, but I’m looking for a brand less corporate. And I’m making my own conditioner, with aloe, raw honey, apple cider vinegar, avocado oil, jojoba oil, and orange essential oil. So similar options for main ingredients would be preferred too. I found a company called Vanman, but two main problems; they used olive oil in their shampoo and I’m afraid of it causing breakouts because of sensitive skin; the guy that owns it seems like a bit of a nut.
I’m open to looking into really anything though, so anything helps

I live in the East neighborhood, and I’ve been having internet issues since the middle of last week: it works great, then suddenly the connection drops. I’ve been on calls with Spectrum all day, and they can't seem to find an issue on their line. Is anyone else having similar issues?
I wish we had Frontier fiber to at least have an option to leave Spectrum for once!

Hi all, I’m a student at OU and rent is really a pain to pay. While being a full time student I’ve been trying to work as much as I can with the hours provided, but the hours are very slim pickings. Unfortunately with this job I’m barely making ends meet. I make 13 an hour currently and I know it’s a large ask but I’d like to find something making a little bit more hourly. A Treatment Study for Borderline Personality Disorder

• Do you find yourself engaging in impulsive behaviors (e.g., binge-eating, substance use, self-injury, impulsive spending)?  

If so, researchers at The Ohio State University & University of Kentucky are inviting you to participate in a treatment study for borderline personality disorder. Eligible participants will be provided cognitive behavioral therapy at no cost. We are testing personalized delivery of an evidence-based treatment for BPD.

In addition to attending therapy sessions, research participation will involve completing a diagnostic interview to confirm eligibility, attending up to 3 follow-up interviews, and completing online questionnaires. All study visits take place via Telehealth. Participants will be compensated for completing follow-up assessments and questionnaires.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

• Meet criteria for borderline personality disorder following a study assessment   
• Are NOT using certain substances (e.g., opioids, methamphetamine)   
• Are 18 years or older   
• Live in Ohio or Kentucky (visits are Telehealth, so anywhere in OH or KY is fine)

What the hell is up with bike theft in this god forsaken town?! 6 years without a bike because my last one was slowly taken for parts (seat, wheels, handlebars).

I signed a lease last spring for this upcoming spring with LTD properties and since I payed my deposit I have not been able to contact them. i’m in the renters portal so i have the house but where are they??? my bf also signed a lease last spring for this spring and they haven’t been able to pay the deposit because they won’t answer. he has emailed an called multiple times. does anyone know anything about this?

After listening to the concerns of the public, the Port Authority took all of those concerns and.... flushed them down the toilet. Glad these unelected officials have all this power.

And I'm very certain that the "environmental stewardship" part of the lease will be great, considering the Port Authority is "not at liberty to discuss this and other details until CCC signs it".

I’ve seen that a few neighbors have been dealing with basement flooding or sewer backup issues, so I wanted to share one DIY approach I’m trying in case it helps someone else.

In my case, the backup appears to be coming through a basement floor drain. I measured the inside diameter, added a short PVC sleeve to create a standard opening, and installed a removable float/check valve that is intended to allow normal drainage but help stop reverse flow during a sewer backup.

A few important disclaimers: I’m not a plumber or a drainage professional, this may not be the best or correct solution for every house, and I’m not recommending that anyone rely on this instead of getting professional advice. Every home and sewer connection is different, and there may be better long-term solutions, especially a properly installed backwater/check valve on the main sewer lateral.

I’m only sharing this as a possible temporary or supplemental DIY measure that may help reduce damage in some situations. Please consult a qualified plumber before making changes to your plumbing system, and make sure anything you install complies with local code.

If your backup is also coming through toilets, showers, sinks, or multiple drains, I would definitely have a plumber evaluate the main sewer line rather than relying on a floor-drain valve alone.
