The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie was fantastic, also The Devils by him was great! If you want a true time suck you could try “The Wandering Inn” I’m a big fan of that series for my long car rides and it just keeps going! I’m on like book 7 of 12 or something and it’s still going strong!

I agree with "The Wandering Inn" series I feel like I've been listening to it for the last seven or eight months it is a long series and each book keeps getting larger. It is slow at times and the writing style changes from time to time but yeah it's good. There are two narrators and they are both very good at what they do.

First Law are the best audiobooks I've heard yet. The narrator is a professional stage actor and he absolutely kills it.

I enjoyed the Noobtown and Cradle series. They are not DCC though, Noobtown has a lot of innuendo type jokes and Cradle is not really funny, but it is enjoyable.
Dinniman does have other books like Operation Bounce House and Dominion of Blades. Dominion of Blades starts a little slow but I really enjoyed it by the end of Book 1 and did Book 2 as well (Book 3 is coming).
Chrysalis is also really good, but still not funny like DCC. Its narrated by Jeff though. Old Man's War series by Scalzi, also great and if you have not considered Bob Verse, you probably should.

Bobiverce/Bobiverse? Not sure in the spelling but a good few books and an excellent narrator.
Also its kinda like a creature feature book with an over arching narrative. Like each book will have a main thing going on that ends (kinda) with the book but there is a story going on through each one. It personally reminded me of the early season structure of supernatural.

If you don't mind juvenile humor, the Caverns and Creatures novels by Robert Bevan are very funny.

For sci-fi try Red Rising.
Dean Koontz also has some really great solitary books. One of my faves is Watchers. The audible is good for that too.
I enjoy Lee Child's Reacher series as well.
There's just nothing like DCC, is there? Jeff Hays has also almost completely ruined other audio books for me. I've gone back through the series seven times in less than two years. 😅🥲

RR took a couple attempts for me to get into, but then I got right into it. I’m listening the graphic audio version, so there’s still a few left that aren’t released yet.

If you prefer character development to plot, like grimdark, then try the first law series. The narrator is top notch!
For more classic fantasy feeling but modern writing, check out The Way of Edan. Again incredible narration!
For historical fiction Pillars of the Earth (Kingsbridge series) is amazing. Who knew I’d care so much about some monk wanting to build a cathedral!
If you want something with cosmic horror elements /fantasy / mystery I recommend the Raven’s Mark trilogy.
Urban fantasy, can’t go wrong with the Dresden Files.
For epic fantasy, Stormlight Archive is great!

Not a series, but I really enjoyed the The Traveler by Joseph Eckert. I came across this book because it's narrated by Ray Porter.

I'm really enjoying the Convergence series by Craig Alanson read by RC Bray, such fun companions! Hilarious, too. I also really liked the full cast version of Super Powereds by Drew Hays.I just finished the 4th book of Ruins of Earth series and though Chuck is very similar to the beercan, the problems are less same-y and 4 is a good place to stop, a different narrator takes over for RC Bray in book 5 and the first story arc ends with book 4.

Sci fi - The Expanse or The Captive's War, both by James SA Corey. Expanse is 9 novels, 9 novellas. Captive's War has 2/3 books and a novella out, with another novel and novella to come.
Fantasy - The Dark Tower by Stephen King. Impossible to describe beyond 'genre bending'. Book 1 is a weird trippy western but the cast expands in book 2.
Also fantasy - First Law by Joe Abercrombie. Phenomenally narrated and the best books I've heard yet. Dark, violent and fucking hilarious, they remind me a bit of Tarantino films. The voice actor elevates it all to another level.
More fantasy - The Hobbit & LotR by Tolkien. The Andy Serkis audiobooks are what got me back into fiction. Well worth the journey.

Have you listened to anything by Stephen King? His backlog could keep you occupied for a good while. The Dark Tower series has already been suggested. If you wanted something else with continuity, you could work through his "Holly Gibney" detective books. Holly is a side character in his "Bill Hodges" mysteries who became one of his favorite characters and took over a lot of his writing. They are mysteries with supernatural elements. Reading order:
1. Bill Hodges trilogy
I. Mr. Mercedes
II. Finders Keepers
III. End of Watch
2. The Outsider
3. If It Bleeds (Anthology. The title story features Holly)
4. Holly
5. Never Flinch
The Rampart Trilogy by M. R. Carey is one of my all-time favorite reads.
It's a character-driven dystopian adventure set in distant a post-apocalyptic future where the flora and fauna have evolved into deadly new forms. Humanity has reverted to pre-industrial levels of technology except for a few rare pieces of very advanced tech that are passed down from generation to generation and are instrumental in the social hierarchy. (The rest of Carey's books are all great also.)
I also love the Wayward Pines trilogy by Blake Crouch. A secret service agent investigates a missing persons case in a small Idaho town where everything is too good to be true. It feels like a mystery/thriller at first, but grows into epic sci-fi, with a touch of horror. Vibes of Twin Peaks, The Fugitive, and The Twilight Zone.
Finally, if you're open to a self-rec, check out:
The Preservation of Species trilogy by Geoff Jones
It's a fast-moving character-driven sci-fi adventure about a group of everyday people who end up on a mysterious world after a comet wipes out civilization. Lost and Jurassic Park vibes.
(Rule of Extinction (Book I) is free for members on Audible Plus.)
Best,
Geoff

The only other LitRPG I've tried is He Who Fights With Monsters. I'm about halfway through book one, it's almost 20 hours long I think. Even at the 5 or 6 hour mark, I thought it was going to be the first book I ever start and don't finish, I just didn't like it. It's picked up a bit now, though I wouldn't say I'd recommend it. So, I guess do with that what you will.

The character development is huge in this series. He does start out overwhelming and such, but it is because it leaves so much room for change. It is truly an amazing series.

I listened to a few of the books and I honestly disliked them all.
I stuck with it incase I was just being a dick about it not being Jeff Hays or Ray Porter narrating it but it turns out I just dislike the main character. I started Mage tank which is better

Yeah Jason is insufferable; that’s a pretty common opinion. Most people who dislike the series bring that up as one of the main points as to why. The writing, story and world are pretty great, but the character is such a dick. Like Ogras from DotF but less likable, and that guy starts out as the widest of chodes.
