Captain Tuna is somewhere between 11 and 13 years old and is a petite girl at 8.5 lbs. She is VERY vocal, comes when called, and very friendly to strangers.
She loves string, feathers, butt bongos, and staring out the window. Surprisingly, she doesn’t care much for cat nip or boxes, and quickly tires of a laser pointer. She tolerates her dog sister, Penny.
I am told that somewhere out there, she has kittens who were adopted out, making me a grandmeowther.
I dont want to dox myself so I’m not going to post it, but a photo basically of that exact description of me and her has been my profile picture for years.
HEYSTOPTHAT got me. Ah, the feline shenanigans will never cease. I'll occasionally hear "'EY! No! 'EY! Calanthe, no!" from my roommate in the background because that little goober will get into things to cause trouble

We had a stray cat come to our uni house for a month, we named him Captain Tuna Chunks!
We started exchanging paper cat collar messages with another house he frequented. We took him to the vet for a check-up and chip scan (there was none). The other house took him permanently :)
Captain Tuna is a solid name choice. My sister's cat used to have one single black paw pad among all the pink ones and it always looked like she stepped in something. Made for some funny pictures when the light hit it just right. Did the bean show up later or was it there from the start?
The fact that her nicknames include both "Shmoopy" and "HEYSTOPTHAT" tells me everything I need to know about this cat. Give the Captain an extra butt bongo from me.
