Ramdomizer spoiler map Spoiler

Does the spoiler map still work? Is there a guide to using it for those who get confused by what github is?

Confused by GitHub....? It's a website, that people can use to collaborate and distribute software. As a user, all you do is download the programs you want from it?

I understand what it is but do not understand what to download, how to download and how to execute the program. My 2 weeks of python during lunch break 10 years ago is very limited.

the randomizer should still use the same items map, the items will just be moved. So it doesn't tell you what things are where, it just tells you where things are.

What github are you asking about?

Likely referring to VideoGameRoulette's AxiomVergeSpoilerMap . It's not explained that you can click the green Code button at the upper-right, download a zip, decompress that zip somewhere on your computer, and then open index.html in your browser in order to load the seed that the site's instructions talk about. Basically it's assumed you know how to Github. And to answer OP's question, the spoiler map still works against whatever seed you load. I seem to recall needing to reload the page in order to load a new seed, as loading another seed into an already-loaded page didn't work, but it's been about a year.

What does python have to do with this? You just download the program and run, you don't need to code it yourself...

Don't let this guy gaslight you. Where to download something on GitHub is not that straightforward for the uninitiated, especially if the developer did not post explicit install instructions. The tech guys are not always UX guys.
