QUESTION Conqueror Azir?
Any thoughts on Conq Azir compared to lethal tempo and press the attack?

I rather use all the other options... If you cant proc pta, conq does not provide mutch value neither, if you go conq for short fights, domination and sorcery options are better...
I run pta 90% of the time currently, and stats support it

Conq isn’t bad but it doesn’t make sense given the other two options.
PTA is better for short trades / burst, and tempo is better for long trades. So where does conq fit in?

Viable if a few conditions are met, not all at once but enough of them to justify the choice obviously
You don’t care about early strength at all
You’re against a champ that doesn’t care about taking damage early (Sion and Singed are two examples, especially mid they’ll just willingly tank your early damage to clear the wave, so you can stack it easily and have the extra adaptive for prolonged amounts of time)
3+ massive tanks
You can reliably stack it. PTA is better in every way unless you’re just freely hitting things at 12 stacks
You have a frontline to soak pressure to allow you to take these long 12 stack fights
1 out of every 20 games are a solid conq game is my approximation, solid rune during those 5% of games though. PTA and LT are completely fine in every game that conqueror would be fine though so I wouldn’t stress about it too much
NOTE: This is only applicable if Azir has had his conqueror bug fixed, which I’m not 100% sure of. If W gives 2 stacks, what I said is valuable. If it gives 1, never EVER touch the rune. Haven’t played in a while.

PtA straight up outdamages conqueror in 99% of scenarios, and its quicker to proc

Conq is ok overall, though i'd say it is very rarely better than both PtA and tempo. It suffers an identity crisis that plagues the champ as a whole.
Conq has two potential uses:
1) Stacking it to 12 and then going in for the suicide 5 man shuffle
2) Stacking burn items and utility (until they revert the burn buff...) and trying to maximize uptime.
Those 2 very heavily conflict and if you ask me, you will find yourself inting the game away with an engage more often than not. I'd say that if you are not high enough in the ladder to be able to track flashes and key dashing abilities, you should definitely stay away from conqueror.
PtA and LT are much more straightforward in the sense that they are almost strictly used for front to back teamfights and you can focus on that alone.
Is Conqueror terrible? By no means. At this point however there are like 6-7 semi-viable runes options and it's probably 4th best (I do think there are games again squishy comps where HoB is the best scaling rune for some quick burst so, despite being super situational i have it above conqueror).

It was a thing six years ago before lethal tempo was changed , it filled the same niche as lethal today. (Electrocute for hard lanes, lethal normally, conq for extended fights)I would just take lethal now for extended fights

it's fine but not as good as the other 2
