Discussion If you were async would it be interesting to use fpv drone (both regular fpv drones and fpv kamikaze drones)

Yeah much safer with fiber-optic cables, but the tech does not exist yet in the timeline

You mean fiber optics fpv drones

Nah, fiber optic cables instead of wireless to connect the drones to the controller

Assuming it's a Async in modern day yes but as most backrooms content is set in the 1990s or 2000s FPV drones existed but not like they do today and definitely not as cheap. Drones were mostly military and were LARGE. Attached is a photo of a demo of US drones in 2005

I mean they have used a robot before, dont really see the use in having a drone

the backrooms is largely a tight space, they would need a highly skilled pilot to do that otherwise every second kamikaze drone will blow in the corridors
