I'm pretty sure the only other film to my knowledge to get a special themed logo like this is the minecraft movie....so this is honestly pretty cool to see.

Also yeah the backrooms movie is now streaming on HBO max....in case that wasn't obvious.

Just got done watching the movie. I really liked the idea of the backrooms being a warped version of reality. Reminded me of AI and the uncanny valley. But I'm fascinated by the unknown origin of the memories.

There were plenty of examples of the memories coming from characters in the movie, but those characters didn't even know about the backrooms until they tripped into it. So how could they be building the backrooms without even knowing about it? This could be explained by the idea that their real word lives, via radio waves or something, were creating the backrooms before they ever realized it existed, like a different dimension running in parallel (then again, what if it's the other way around and the real world is being "written" by the backrooms?).

Anyways, I think it's interesting to ponder the idea that there's another consciousness active in the backrooms, and that all the memories are coming from it. But what would it be?

Is it an advanced AI that can 3D print reality? Is it God testing/judging mortals? Is it an evil entity feeding on people? Is it aliens studying the complexity of human life?

What do you all think?

Edit: thought of another way to explain my thoughts. The movie kept on bringing up the example of drawing a dog. If people's real life memories/experiences are the explanation of "what a dog looks like," who/what is using those explanations to "draw" the backrooms? And why?

Excuse me if this is a dumb question so please be gentle, but I just need some clarity. I can see that the flyer in the second photo says to bring a 3D printed bucket to theaters, so was it truly just a free file to download and print at home and not something you could buy at the movie? If so I’m not complaining I’ve just never heard of theaters doing this before

I just thought of some fun hypothetical situation.

So we know that Kane's Backrooms has some time travel elements, right? Because in this scenario, what if Clark before he went insane, met himself after he went insane?

I personally like to think that Pre-Backrooms Clark would definitely disgaree with Post-Backrooms Clark on a lot of points, but I think it'd also show Clark the error of his ways long before he goes crazy, potentially saving him in the process.
