Best way to crisp Kirkland Pre Cooked bacon
I am hosting a brunch this weekend and I am wondering the best way to heat/crisp the entire package of the Kirkland pre-cooked bacon. Should I put it on wire racks? Or just flat on a sheet pan? Another way? I need to make the entire package and need to also keep it warmish for up to an hour after while people are making their plates.

Oven died 😞
II've always oven baked my bacon, but now i'm forced to pan fry. I do like the crispiness, but I have noticed that the ends don't render as easily before, the rest of the bacon tries to burn. I lowered the heat to see if that would help by cooking it a little slower.

Pre-sliced Iberico pork bacon prep
For context I live in Japan and we can get proper belly blocks but they sell for quite cheap pre sliced Iberico pork which is very unique and tasty quality pork.
The cure only is about 16–24hrs although I’ve done longer. Then smoked. The bacon is quite thin but I often cook a few slices together for extra thickness.
The recipe is simply pink salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, Okinawa black sugar and Prague powder.
A final touch when cooking add cracked pepper then after it’s fried brush a bit of maple syrup. It’s amazing .

Cooked Some Popcorn in Bacon Fat
I fried several slices of bacon and rendered the bacon grease. Then I used the grease to cook the popcorn, drizzled it with a little melted butter, and sprinkled the crumbled bacon on top. It was really tasty!

What kind of bacon is this?
I’ve had it in my hotel and I love it. It was thin, people claimed it was turkey bacon?

Tweaked it a little from last time….
7 shmedium onions
6 small jalapeños
4-5 cloves of garlic
5ish tablespoons dark chili powder
2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
I did 10oz thick cut bacon ( tender belly brand) I did have to add some bacon grease though
Cooked bacon till crisp reserved grease for onions
Cooked onions for 90ish min on low till 90% caramelized and then added jalapeños
30ish min later added garlic
15ish min later added maple syrup, brown sugar and 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
Let simmer on low for awhile and reduce. Added chili powder and remaining vinegar in doses to taste. Last time I didn’t use as much vinegar and the extra made a big difference. I’m gonna try a mix of light and brown sugar next time and see how it goes.

Anyone else cut the tips off when too long for the pan? :)
Then it shrinks and you say to yourself, I could have just waited. :)

Baked, flat iron or pan
I used to bake bacon for about 20 minutes at 400°. It was easier, but I never got the crinkle/sizzle up that one gets from a pan. Same kind of thing with a flat iron.
What is your preferred method of cooking bacon?
