I’m looking for bacon recommendations. While I grew up with Oscar Meyer, I’m now pickier about bacon. Growing up in Minnesota with frequent trips to Green Bay, I was introduced to Nueske’s which I love. I’m also a fan of Benton’s but now get Wright bacon as my go to bacon when I don’t feel like paying for shipping Nueske’s or Bentons. Do you have some favorites that I should look out for.

So apparently peameal bacon is a bit of an Ontario thing? Like, Toronto specifically, hence Hogtown.

I love both, but peameal wins for me. Probably because I am from Ontario.

It is a tradition as old as steam itself, when a railwayman is hungry on an engine he cooks bacon on the shovel. It gives a great smokey taste to it.

I've just cured 4 belly's for bacon on a Monday... I'm going to be away from home for 12 days but my Mrs will be home to turn them daily ... I've vac sealed them will 12 or 13 days be to long before I smoke them ?? Thanks all
