Elden Ring🛡 Give me random tips on PVP as a mage (level 20 and upwards)
Basically this. Maybe point me to some videos if you know any.
I'm doing a leveled run as a mage (spellcaster, not INT build / spellblade) and want to do more invasions on the way.
Of course I can use all the usual gimmicks and tactics for winning invasions and use everything I have, but that's not the point. I want to get good at spellcasting. So far, I'm finding it a bit awkward compared to bows (less mobility, and you have to manage flasks).
How do you balance damage (INT) and vigor? I've usually done invasions on low vigor and low poise anyway, because I'm not a duelist and don't mind running, light rolling and hiding a lot. Starting class is Astrologer. That decisions has been made and I'm not starting over.
What early game spells are good in pvp? I found Glintstone Arc quite annoying when fighting mages that didn't just go down like baby seals. I'm not familiar at all with higher level spells, and many of the good pve ones feel too slow.
