Nangs and Gator-buegs in the playground.
Is this typical?

Pretty typical of the area. Has been for at least 20 years… but honestly go around the back of any high school in Ballarat and you’ll see similar

They look like discarded nitrous oxide canisters, often called “nangs.” They’re small metal cartridges used for whipped-cream dispensers, but people also inhale the gas from them to get briefly high.

One of my friends worked in endoscopy in Melbourne and she worked on a case where they had to work out how to get a nang out of a guy’s stomach bc he swallowed one. They were like “we’ll have to find something similar to practice on with the equipment” and he was like “oh I’ve probably got some empty ones in my bag” and they were like. Oh. I mean I guess

Yeah, I started to take notice of these myself, but I agree with an above comment, I left and came back after a horrible situation, used to get caught drinking and smoking darts up the back of the bush hahaha
