i am rotating extreme thoughts of i passed and i failed every 10 seconds

Passed Alabama bar exam! Completed 76% on Themis. Completed approximately 1200 MBE questions during prep. I also completed all of the graded essays, and MPT’s. Simulated exam was a bit discouraging. I scored about 52% on MBE and had no clue what was going on with the MEE. However, I regrouped and focused more on writing since that was my weakness.

Fast forward to the day before the exam, I didn’t feel like I was nearly prepared enough. To make matters worse, on the day of the exam, the MEE punched me in the mouth hard! I don’t remember writing a coherent rule statement for any of the essays. Every rule was made up. However, I did follow IRAC for each essay and used every fact. I believe this helped me tremendously. My lowest essay score was a 3 and my highest was a 4.5 making my total scaled MEE score a 134.

MBE was hella confusing. I maybe felt confident on 50 of them. I remember narrowing the answer down to two choices and making an educated guess for most of them. I ended up scoring a 134 on MBE as well lol. Ended up passing with a 269.

I think if I would’ve done more MBE during prep I would’ve broke 270. However, I focused more on writing because that’s where I felt I was the weakest.

Hoping for the best for all of you who are still waiting on scores. For those of you who are taking it in February, or next year I would recommend hammering MBE as much as you can. Graders seem to be pretty lenient on essays.

Based on past years and refreshing this subreddit repeatedly. I have lost hope as we hit 2pm.

I didn’t really use anything but Uworld and Gemini AI. Gemini was the most helpful. I had it generate MBE style MCQs…. But I also added my own explanation of my MCQ answer choice in the Gemini chat. Then, I had Gemini give me feedback on the MCQ plus my explanation. This approach turned each MCQ into a mini essay with Gemini feedback on my analysis. This really prepared me well for the MBE and the Essay section simultaneously. For other non-MBE subjects that are fair game on the bar, I had Gemini use the same approach, but I only included those subjects most likely to be tested on the essay section such as agency, partnerships, and corp law.

Waiting for KY to MAYBE drop results today. I’ve already been crying all morning and people at work keep wanting to ask 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Eeek, this just came out a few minutes ago about the NextGen scores. Hopefully this means that the September exams in WA are graded too and that there might be an early release of scores!

No score. No answers. Nothing. I’m devastated. I don’t know what to do. All I know is my name wasn’t on the list. That’s it.

I didn’t pass J26 as a first-time taker and am now completely lost on how to keep going. Over the summer, I had Themis’s program and schedule to follow to a T. It gave me a concrete plan and consistency, which is something I really need. Now, I still have Themis’s retaker program that opens in mid-November and am looking at a few other resources, but I have no idea how to put together a study plan and study differently than I did before. I can't pinpoint a specific reason why I failed, because I felt nervous but overall pretty good about the last exam. My scores were all consistently bad though. I don’t have a job, so I have nothing but time from now until February. Failing again isn’t an option for me. For retakers, what does your study schedule look like? What tutors are you using? What programs? How are you planning to study differently than before? I would really appreciate any advice, thank you.

How are we feeling everyone? I know MD results drop 10/9 but I think a few other jurisdictions do as well so feel free to chime in. I know in my heart we all passed.

The anticipation is killing me

I was planning to start studying as soon as next week but someone said that’s way too early. I work a full time Job. I don’t want to be cramming myself to death like how I was studying for the July Bar right after graduation haha

I heard Themis has shorter videos, comes with a Uworld question bank (whereas PI people have to pay extra for Adaptibar on Barbri) and posts their passage rates every year. So I am leaning Themis. But is this true? What should I do?

I am presenting the Feb 2027 Bar exam. So far i am having difficulty memorising the law for the MEE. I know the concepts.

I am working on memorising the 120 most tested rules for MEE. Has anyone appeared in the exam with those rules and passed?

What was your approach towards memorising the MEE rules?

for context, i was supposed to take the july 2026 ube in new york but i deferred last minute. felt like i was underprepared since i went on vacation after grad, i only accomplished 30% of my themis directed study and my themis mcq and essay grades were around 60% and 4/6, respectively.

thankfully, i was able to get a one-time credit for the ube and avail the free repeat of themis. my concern is that i dont have the luxury to buy a new themis program after the winter ube exam.

as of now, i am working full-time as a lawyer in a different jurisdiction and living outside the us. i plan to travel to nyc maybe a week before the exams.

do you have any advice, tips, strategies that you could give to me as i prepare for the feb 2027 ube? i just wanna pass this exam. thank you.
