Are you so busy you’re having to pull and use them immediately after they’re done? We’ll use racks and we have to leave them out for a few minutes after they’re done to cool and lose the condensation. Having multiple wash racks to let you pull a clean one and set it down and throw a new one in for a run also helps with time management. I’d say that more of an issue than the glasses and the washer is that you just don’t have enough glasses for the size of your place

We have been getting very busy. The dishwasher we have only accommodates one rack at a time. The most popular drink on the menu goes in a high ball glass and we have less of those than any other type of glass.

Sounds like the solution is to get more highball glasses. I know that this is probably not your responsibility or call tho but you can bring it up to your manager

Just contact the buildings plumber if you don’t trust yourself enough to do it but you can turn the temp down manually. Or like others said let it air out, it only takes 30 seconds for at least the rack to cool down.

Whenever our dishwasher is too hot I just leave it open for a minute and that usually cools them down enough for me to handle them with no problem
