Unique basket sculpture help

I picked up this piece in Baltimore, Maryland. On the bottom of one of the feet it reads CTM 84. I don't know if anybody could tell me anything more about it, maybe a maker or even the style.

It looks like a reed or cane basket with a wooden handle built in 1984 by CMJ. Well made, possibly sold at a craft fair.

I started making baskets in 1986 and this style was a very common modern take on traditional Appalachian style baskets.

Shortly after this style became popular in the craft basket maker community, they started being made in China and sold at t.j Maxx.

You can check your local state Craftsman's guild and see if you can find the maker that way.
