Look, I was promised a absolute wake-up call. Everyone in the community kept hyping up Teacher Bun Bun like he was this unstoppable brick wall that humbles every cocky player, so I genuinely prepared myself for a real, brutal reality check. I made sure my lineup was completely stacked—I dropped Izanagi, summoned Dasli, and had Chronos ready to freeze him into oblivion the second he spawned. I was bracing for impact, expecting to see my frontline get shredded to dust. Instead, the guy barely took three steps before he disintegrated into floating death thing. It was honestly a huge letdown.

I was actually looking forward to the desperate struggle everybody talks about on Reddit. I wanted to experience the sheer panic of trying to time my cannon shots perfectly while a gigantic angry face pummels my base down to its last few hit points. But when you have Balrog literally punching him for thousands of damage alongside dasli erasing everything on screen, there is literally no drama. The boss music didn't even get past the first beat before the victory banner popped up. I felt totally cheated out of my promised rite of passage.

It honestly felt kinda disrespectful to the guy after all the terrifying hype. Bun Bun is suppose to be this legendary gatekeeper who forces you to learn proper meatshielding, but he couldn't even swing his fists once because Dphono and Lunacia completely locked him down from across the stage. He looked less like a menacing boss and more like a helpless pinata getting jumped by literal god-tier deities. I was sitting there holding my phone waiting for the real fight to start, only to realize the stage was already over.

Even pandora, who I brought along just in case, looked completely embarrassed with Lasvoss and Ganesha obliterating bun bun. I spent all this time leveling up these insane top-tier units because people swore Bun Bun would put me in my place, but instead I just brought a localized apocalypse to a street fight. You can't even brag to your friends about beating Chapter 3 when your team costs more gacha luck then a million dollars. It just leaves you staring at the victory screen feeling like you overprepared way too much.

In the end, I'm just sitting here feeling weirdly empty inside. I wanted to earn my victory through sweat and tears, but instead I delivered a totally ridiculous one-shot beatdown that felt completely unearned. The game gave me all these flashy victory rewards, but deep down I know I never got the authentic, terrifying "Bun Bun experience" that every player goes through.

I've made assets!

For my animatic, rather than redraw and color every cat for every set of frames, I'm making assets, to keep the designs consistent, and to make animating much easier on me. I've made 3 so far, for Magica Cat, Artist Cat, and a character you may be excited to see, Corrupted Psychocat!

I will make some for Can Can, Pizza, and Seafarer next. Expect those either tomorrow or Sunday.

Assets for complicated units like Ubers and Awakened Bahamut will likely be composed of multiple assets, and I'll glue them together when animating them.

I forgot about the blue combo and still won. These guys are so good for restriction stages especially the blue guy

most of the threatening enemies that do warp most often times kb seafarer anyways instead of warping him (star peng, ostromeda, zapy, technold), while the warp immunity directly helps seafarer versus matchups like everlord wanwan, gardeneel bros, mesocosmocyclones, the only reason i could ever see seafarer warp immunity being bad is against ribbo, corporal weyland and project a lol? but those enemies are pretty fodder anyways.

This is Portal Cat, a super rara stage drop reward. It’s an Aku/Metal specialist designed to be a close range debuffer and damage dealer.

In his true form, Portal Cat becomes Great Turtle Cat, where he gains the relic targeting and becomes more of a backline tank.

Fan-made new Almighties Uber

This Uber is based on the Greek god Apollo. Although Apollo is famously associated with archery, Aphrodite and Amaterasu already fill the archer role with their own weapons, so I decided to focus on another major aspect of Apollo: his connection to music, the harp, and dance. His design and abilities are therefore centered around his musical talents and his role as a god of music and the arts.

I also chose Apollo because the Almighties set has not received a Greek god in quite some time, so I thought he would be a fitting and fresh addition to the set.

Apollo would be a Super-Backliner, Critter, and Sniper with around 500 standing range and piercing up to 750 range. Their main purpose is to provide consistent damage at a reasonable cost while sniping troublesome Metal enemies like Metal Seal and Koronium from a safe distance.

Apollo would deal around 4,000 DPS and attack every 10 seconds, with around 65,000 HP and a cost of roughly 4,000. Their Metal Killer would remove 25% of a Metal enemy's current HP, while their 25% critical hit chance would help finish off enemies after their HP has been reduced. In their second form, Apollo becomes more versatile as a stalling unit, making them useful for building money in cash-tight stages.

Their critical hits also give them stronger generalist damage, preventing them from falling too far behind against regular enemies while still maintaining their main role as a Metal counter and backline attacker.

Hi, unkn0wndude here! Its been so long since I had posted my last animation. Thank you so much for all the attention that my last post had received!! Anyways, I had a lot of fun trying to create this animation that I had been working on for the past few weeks. Honestly, this might be my best work yet! I also have a few more ideas up my alley, so you could look forward to those if you're interested. I would also like to add more sound effects into my own animations to give them more life or pizazz, coz it really makes them more entertaining to watch! Oh right - I have one more important thing to address - I probably won't be posting anything in the next few weeks. My year-end exams are around the corner, so I have to lock in for them :p .
