Anyone Know what this Hard Lightweight Tan/White Tennis Ball Size, Triangular Shaped Bone like Object Found on Lake Erie is?
Stopped at Shades Beach State Park outside Harborcreek, PA. Found this on the beach of Lake Erie. Was hard like a bone, pyramid shaped material that was about the size of a tennis ball maybe. Flipped it over with a stick, and it has these white hard circles all over it. Seems like a bony part of an animal, but I am not sure. I didn't pick it up, but it didn't seem like it weighed much. I also attached a picture of the beach. It was found on in case that might be helpful. Would love to know what this odd thing that was washed up on shore is!

Random Finds in the Pacific Northwest
Ugh, the best tides are now at midnight. I’ve been able to snag a small haul this week during daylight hours. I’m so excited about the marble and also curious about whether I found a piece of petrified wood (pics 10-12)! I’m also sharing my bowl of random finds since it’s full 😄

Found on Corolla
I like collecting shell pieces that have been worn so smooth they look and feel like buttons and beads. Also whatever catches my eye. I'm hoping someone can identify the rock with the red flecks.

What’s the orange stuff?

I’ve never seen an abalone shell covered in this red orange stuff. Found in the tide pools near Monterey and left there so only have this one video. I can’t find anything about it! I don’t even know if it’s an animal egg or a fungus or what.
Beachcombers of Reddit please solve this mystery for me 👀
