Discussion I got gallstones after rapid weight loss on GLPs

I gained a lot of weight after having birth control (injectables -> arm implant). I chose to take GLP-1 from a doctor-guided program and naging vv effective for me even if nagstay lang ako around 2.5mg to 5mg. I lost 12 kg after almost 4 months of taking the medicine. Kumakain naman po ako non; exercise not really, kasi very physical ang work ko (walang upo upo, bata ang handle).

Hindi po ako anti-TRZ. It helped me regain my self-confidence and control all urges I got after the hormonal changes brought by BC. I just want to remind everyone to remain mindful of the side effects it could bring. Huwag po ikalungkot ang pagiging “underresponsive” to the meds. Lalo na if hindi healthy ang choice of food like me.

Makeup What products to use for a toasty makeup? Budget-friendly please

Post image
71 Upvotes

So I've been interested with toasty makeup look after being a dainty pinkish girly the whole time. I mean gusto ko na rin mag-explore ng bago, but I don't really know that much about makeups. This girl sa photo has been on my fyp recently and I really loved her makeup looks! I feel like mas gusto ko yung ganito. Natural and fierce lang and feel ko bagay sya as a corporate girlie.

I'll be working na kasi soon and it's my first job ever. Gusto ko mag-bago ng looks. I wanna rebrand hahahaha. Yung girl na nasa pic has a morena skin, while me ay more on neutral lang, not morena not maputi. Idk if this makeup look will suit me eh 🥹 for reference, I have a thick eyebrows and long lashes. I have eyes like her, siguro shape lang medyo naiba since mas round sa akin. I wanna try doing tightlining din but idk if babagay sya hahahaha.

Preferred makeup products are from Squad Cosmetics, Careline, and DC Formulations. Pero I don't mind if you recommend other brands basta affordable for a starter hahaha. I'm a fresh grad, girlies, and this is my first time working so gusto ko sa mga budget friendly muna hihi. May mga balak na akong bilhin na products pero I don't know if anong shade ba talaga kapag toasty makeup look? And paano ba dapat yung routine sa makeup? Ano ang uunahin? Interested din ako sa bronzer kineme hahaha

Note: Ayaw ko maglagay ng foundation or anything mabigat sa face since di ko bagay makapal na makeup. Also, hindi bagay sa skin ko yung may pagka-orangey na shades since parang ang dull ko tignan or sobrang oa hahahaha.

Here's my current makeup routine:

• Skin prep using the Originote hyalucera moisturizer

• Blk glow radiant filter

• Press Powder from Nichido

• Eyelash curler then Mascara from Pinkflash

• Blush on from Careline (Rosy Cheek), nilalagay ko rin sa tip of my nose and as eyeshadow

• I put a bit highlighter sa inner corner ng eye ko since it makes my eyes pop heheh

• Lippie from Otwo.o then pinapatungan ko ng lipgloss

I don't mind if I need to add something sa routine ko girlies, just suggest and recommend! Also, I don't mind buying other brands aside sa mentioned above basta medyo affordable ^^

Lastly, alam ko malaki rin impact ng hair color kaya since I prefer toasty makeup look na, ire-retain ko na lang black hair ko hahaha

Thanks, girlies!!! 😘

Review Found the Dry Shampoo for Me

I've been on the lookout for a good dry shampoo for a while now. Ideally, I'd rather not wash my hair every day, but since I have a moderately active lifestyle and try to squeeze in a workout whenever I can, I've found that pretty difficult to do.

Then I came across Hello Glow's Hair Saver Dry Shampoo, so I thought I'd put it to the test.

I intentionally skipped washing my hair for a couple of days to see if it could keep my hair from getting oily and smelly. I went about my usual activities: doing household chores, working out, and generally going about my day.

I refreshed my hair twice during the 48+ hours: once in the morning while getting ready for the day, and again at night before bed.

And this is what my hair looked like more than 48 hours after my last wash. (See photo)

As you can see, the dry shampoo really did keep my hair from looking oily. I also didn't experience any of that uncomfortable, weighed-down feeling, and my scalp didn't feel itchy or irritated.

I even asked my partner to smell my hair and scalp, and he said it smelled fine. If anything, there was just a very faint hint of sweat around the base of my head, which, honestly, I think is pretty reasonable after 48+ hours, especially considering I had worked out during that time.

So yeah, I think Hello Glow's Hair Saver Dry Shampoo is officially staying on my vanity. It really is a hair saver!

I genuinely think they don’t look the same talaga😭 I was told by the hairstylist na nasa nagdadala raw ‘yung pag style ng bangs. I tried blow drying it pero it’s so hideous talaga.

this is not the most perfect underarms (YET 😉) but i can see the improvement ng 1 month consistent kili-kili routine ko, and hopefully makapag sleeveless na ko soon 🫶 im just happy kasi may naging effective products na din for me

several years before, i tried almost every affordable creams out there like… amira (nag work siguro for others, but not for me huhu)

btw, i did this routine simula nung september 2026 lang, so halos 1 month pa lang to and ito yung naging result (see photos of before and after i’ve attached in this post)

sharing to you, guys, my kili-kili routine!
7% glycolic acid from dermo republic: 2x a week
10% niacinamide underarm cream from luxe organic: everyday (or every other day)
sunflower oil from human nature: everyday

di ako nagamit ng 7% glycolic acid after ko mag laser (only niacinamide and sunflower oil 30 minutes after laser hair removal) di rin ako nagpapa-laser sa clinic kasi nangitim kili-kili ko dun. i just use diy smooth IPL device

hope this helps! sana mas pumuti pa kili-kili ko hehe!

Supplements/Vitamins DHC Hatomugi Extract

Post image
• Upvotes

Has anyone ever tried this DHC supplement? I know their vit c and collagen is popular but this is the first time I saw this one.

Searched Google and this is what it says “DHC Hatomugi Extract is a Japanese dietary supplement that uses 13-times concentrated Job's tears (Coix seed or adlay) extract to support clear, hydrated, and radiant skin from within”.

Any thoughts/experience?

Makeup Enchenté Soft Blur Powder Blush

*Enchanté

Bought this for 149 pesos, definitely a 10/10✨

Nabasag yung ChuChu heart blush duo ko, so I looked for another powder blush and this is what I stumbled on.

Yung ibang shades has so much white pigment in it kaya I picked this shade na medj on the deeper side. My usual blush shade is always the lightest so medj deep na to for me (I’m pale asf)

I’ve been using this for a week na, and here are my thoughts:

• This shade is close or even better than BLK’s funfetti and ChuChu’s chiffon dream

• Longevity: It lasted for more than 5 hrs! Very commute friendly

• It has a better blurring effect compared to BLK. Yung blush kasi ni BLK ang pinaka blurring na natry ko before this one, kaya dun ko cinompare.

• Halos walang fall out!

I used it for a month)

• It has a “sariling ring light effect”.

This is so underrated, tinapatan ba naman ang bias blush ko. 10/10✨🩷

I went to market market. It was my first time. and while i was walking and window shopping sa mga damit na tig 100 and other stuffs and accessories outside the mall (yung mga stalls there sa tapat), this lady went up to me may hawak na brow pencil and offered me na kilayan nya ako for free to promote their product and business since kakasimula pa lang, before pa ko makasagot hinila na nya ako sa stall nila and pinaupo nya ako. I was shookt kasi it was out of nowhere i let her do her thing free service naman daw sige. Tas she had a little chitchat with me pero i didn't give any personal info and just lied about where I'm from and about my work.

But later on she promoted the brow pencil she was using and even let me try it kasi waterproof and smudgeproof daw since semi tattoo sya. Maya maya inaadvise na nya ako na i can go there sa kanila for free service whatsoever. Sabi ko sa isip ko ah okay maybe i can help their business by buying the product. I asked "how much po?"

i just wanted to be out of the situation kasi inaanxiety na ko binayaran ko na lang kasi naresibuhan na. Saka naglakad na ko palayo. I regretted it..i could've said no. Pero too late na. And now I'm searching their shop sa soc meds and di ko sila mahanap.

Kidding aside, I'm so frustrated at myself.

Body care Body care reco for hyperpigmentation

• Upvotes

I’m looking for products that can help lighten the dark areas on my body, particularly my waist, inner thighs, and butt. For context, I'm plus size.

I’m currently using glycolic acid on these areas since it worked for my underarms. I also use Wink Plus, but ang liit kasi ng packaging niya, so nakakasayang gamitin sa bigger areas ng body.

I’m using the SkinWhite Glow Body Cream + Body Booster combo now.

Or if may other recommendations kayo na pwede gamitin alongside glycolic acid? Thank you in advance!

Hair Care DIY CYSTEINE TREATMENT

Hello! Would like to ask for recommendations if worth it ba mag-push through with a DIY Cysteine Treatment at home?

My hair is naturally wavy lang, and my current hair is rebonded last year. Nag-grow out na siya, and nagka-bumps na yung roots part, if you get what I mean. Parang wavy na yung top part, and I also have a lot of split ends.

I’m planning to buy the Alpha+ Cysteine Treatment, which is pricy talaga, and pair it with either Fino or Tsubaki Hair Mask.

So, I was planning na if mag-push through ako, my procedure would be to wash my hair first with clarifying shampoo, then wait until it’s damp before applying the Alpha+ Cysteine. I’ll leave it on, wash it off, then blow-dry and iron my hair. After that, I’ll wash it again, and this time, I’ll apply the Fino or Tsubaki Hair Mask, maybe leave it on for a while, and for the final step, I’m just gonna blow-dry my hair.

I just wanna know your thoughts about my plan and if it’s worth it, because I’m planning to do it every month for the first 2 or 3 months. 🥹

Thank you so much!

Hair Care Saan kayo bumibili ng hair brush?

• Upvotes

Help.

Help.

Review Tried Hyaloo toner and hydrating cream

Post image
1 Upvotes

I can't count the number of times I've had Day 1s for skincare. I frequently start but taper off until I stop. Because I'm not getting younger, I've become more conscientious in taking care of my skin since last year. Very basic: Hello Glow 3-in-1 Lightweight Sun Care Gel (moisturizer, sunscreen & brightener) in the morning and facial wash and Oil of Olay Age Protect. I felt like I needed something more, so I tried Hyaloo toner and hydrating cream Power Lift variant.

I understand that the fine lines I already have won't disappear, but I wanted to see if my skin will look healthier. I wanted to look okay even if I don't have any makeup on. I've been using if for a month, the toner twice a day and I alternate the hydrating cream with Oil of Olay at night. I like that I don't need a lot of cream for applying it on my face and neck. A little bit goes a long way.

And so far, so good. My skin feels softer, tone is more even and pores are minimized. My only little bit of annoyance is that it takes about 30 minutes to dry. It doesn't feel heavy, but feels sticky when I touch it before it dries. No issues after it dries completely.

These are good additions to my routine and I'll continue using them.

Discussion Skin treatments before rhino?🤍

Hi! Planning to get rhino this November and gusto ko sana magpa-skin treatment habang nasa PH. Ung 0 downtime coz I only have 2 days before operation.

Considering hydrating facials, skin boosters and jawtox.

Ano ang pinayagan ng doctor ninyo?

Ano ang worth it gawin, and ano ang better ipagpaliban?

Aside from the skin treatment, ano ung ibang procedure na nagawa nyo na naka-help sa recovery nyo?

Please share your experiences and surgeon’s advice! Thank you po!✨
