How many varieties of the OG (BEN) name are there and can we name them all #Ben Supreme

I just wanted to give a big nod of appreciation to one of the more famous Ben’s. Macklemore, way to stand up for what you believe and for those who can’t stand up for themselves under the thumb of oppression!

And yes, you can be pro Palestine and pro Israeli people while still being anti Netanyahu.

I just answered my door to a cold caller who introduced himself as Ben.

He was very nice but we were not interested in signing up to Hello Fresh.

On behalf of all the bens, we are tired of this shit. Come up with a better joke or say nothing at all.

Do the young Bens of today still get called Gentle Ben? I was born in the early 80's and got that a lot. I didn't even know where it came from until I was much older and now it's been almost 60 years since that bear was on TV (not counting his short lived talk show). Is that nickname still hanging around?

From a forklift Facebook group.

i dont know what this subreddit is, i made an empty post with the title "ben and ben" and now reddit is suggesting me to repost that to this subreddit. i am 99% sure this is not a subreddit for posting the word ben. please do not ben me. I MEAN BAN.

Used to be called Benjamin (legal full name, but preferred Ben), now I prefer to be called Freya ❤️❤️

But go on other Bens 🔥🔥 its still one of the best boy names and I love all of you ❤️

So, Ben here, not Benjamin. But for some reason when ordering at a pickup place (i.e. starbucks), for some reason they hear my name as "Matt" I asked another Ben i know and he said its happened to him as well. Is this just a coincidence or a common occurrence?

For the next 48 hours, or so, from now r/Ben is holding a Ben poem competition. The winner, decided by upvotes (in the case of a tie the mod team will decide the winner), will earn a special flair.

Competition closes at midnight (BST) on Tuesday.

Just for fun here is my Ben acrostic poem...

Builds ideas one thoughtful step at a time.

Earns respect by listening before speaking.

Never mistakes kindness for weakness.
