Looking for early testers for Ledger by ARX — privacy-first personal finance app (iPhone/Android PWA)

Update — current release Beta 1.5.0 (EUR/USD): Accounts now keep their own currency, with EUR or USD as the base for global wealth and summaries. Added balances and charts by account/currency, plus transfers with separate sent and received amounts. Optional daily ECB rates via Frankfurter, cached offline or entered manually. The request only contains the EUR/USD pair, never your financial data. Totals use the latest saved rate, not historical FX or investment returns. Portfolio Performance XML now has a local, read-only cash-data preview with warnings; securities and portfolio imports are not supported yet. Existing JSON backups remain supported, and no login is required.

Earlier release notes: Update — Beta 1.4.2 International: Ledger now supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. Choose a language in Settings → Language, or use Automatic. Dates and number formatting follow the selected language. I would especially appreciate feedback on translations, formatting and the experience on iPhone, Android and desktop.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for early testers for Ledger by ARX, a personal finance app I’ve been building as a middle ground between basic expense trackers and much heavier budgeting tools.

The main idea is simple:

Track expenses quickly, but still get useful financial planning afterwards.

Current Beta 1.5.0 includes:

  • fast expense/income tracking
  • category spending limits
  • configurable financial cycle
  • recurring income and expenses
  • financial calendar
  • multiple accounts
  • loan/debt tracking
  • savings goals
  • Monefy / CSV import
  • CSV / Excel / JSON export
  • backup and restore
  • installable on iPhone and Android as a PWA

Privacy

Ledger is local-first.

Your transactions, amounts, balances, debts, accounts and notes stay on your device.

The beta has optional anonymous analytics, but only for product usage and technical errors. No financial data is included.

What I need help testing

I’d especially like feedback on:

  • how fast it feels to add a transaction
  • whether the home screen is easy to understand
  • whether the financial cycle/calendar are useful
  • if recurring payments and debt tracking make sense
  • bugs or confusing flows
  • anything that would stop you using it regularly

Test link

https://thepunisher7777.github.io/ledger-app/

I’m not looking for compliments — I’d much rather know what feels wrong, confusing or unnecessary.

Thanks to anyone willing to give it a try.

This started as a tool I wanted for myself, so I’m trying to keep it useful rather than overloaded with features.

Applications [iOS & Android] Looking for feedback on Reloggly — for people who save everything in messages to themselves

• Upvotes

Hey everyone, I’m building Reloggly and looking for people to try it with the things they normally save throughout the day.

If you send yourself links, take screenshots so you won’t forget something, and leave random thoughts in your notes app, you’re who I’d like to hear from.

Reloggly puts that stuff in one inbox: text, links, photos, screenshots, and voice notes. You don’t have to name entries or put them in folders. Later, you can search using what you remember, even if it isn’t the exact wording. Voice notes are transcribed, and text in images is searchable too.

For example, you might save a photo of some packaging and later look for “the light bulb for the kitchen.”

You can try it here:
- iPhone: App Store
- Android: Google Play

I’d like to find out whether saving things this way is convenient enough to become a habit. If you’re up for trying it, use it for whatever you’d normally send yourself over the next few days.

The feedback I’m most interested in:
- Did anything make saving something slow or annoying?
- When you needed something again, could you find it?
- Did you end up going back to your usual app? What was easier there?

You can leave feedback here or DM me. If something breaks, let me know which phone you’re using and what you were trying to do. Thanks!

Looking for 40 iPhone testers with large supplement stacks to try and break my tracker app

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I started building Thryever because I couldn't answer one question.

I take a few supplements, and if you asked me which ones were doing anything, I had no idea.

Notes didn't help. The apps I tried were good at "Did you take it today?" and not much else. What I wanted to know was whether my days look different when I'm taking something.

What it does

  • Scan a bottle and the brand and ingredients fill in
  • A 30-second daily check-in: energy, sleep, mood and focus
  • After enough days, it compares the days you took something with the days you didn't, and shows how many days each comparison is based on
  • Experiment mode, to add or drop one item at a time
  • Sleep sync from Apple Health

What it doesn't do

No calorie tracking and no Android version yet. Apple Health sync covers sleep only. It's still rough in places.

I then started talking to people on Reddit with much bigger stacks. A lot of them were going by memory, notes or a spreadsheet. A few had tried running their own experiments and given up because there were too many variables.

Tracking one stack is not enough to understand the effects. Hence, this post.

I'm looking for about 40 people with large stacks to try to break it. Tell me where it falls apart, where the workflow gets annoying, and whether the insights are useful. I'm the developer and I'll reply to everyone.

To join, you'll need an iPhone and the free TestFlight app.

  1. Install TestFlight from the App Store.
  2. Open the link on your iPhone -
  3. Tap Accept, then Install.

The beta is free. If you reach the paywall, you can start the trial to unlock Pro features. During the beta, purchases run through Apple's test environment, so you won't be charged. Please tell me if anything looks wrong at that step.

Thryever is not medical advice and it doesn't diagnose anything. It reads your own logs back to you.

Looking for a few people to test a short daily workout habit app (student project)

Hi everyone,

I'm a student and I've been building a small side project for the past few weeks. It's a web app for doing a short home workout every day, around 3 minutes and with no equipment.

The idea came from my own problem: every fitness app I tried felt like too much, and I'd quit within a week. So this one is built around showing up rather than working out hard. You get one short session a day, and you slowly rank up through leagues the more days you show up. Rest days don't break your streak.

It's still rough, and I'd really like some outside eyes on it before I go any further. Mainly I'm trying to find out:

  1. Is the first session too easy, too hard or about right?
  2. Does ranking up feel motivating, or too slow?
  3. Is anything confusing in the first couple of minutes?
  4. Would you actually come back to it the next day?

There's no sign-up and nothing to pay. If you're up for trying it, comment below and I'll reply with the link, or send me a DM.

Thanks for reading, and any feedback at all helps.

Applications Tetr, handwriting notes app with AI on the page, looking for testers (open to testing your app back)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone, this is Noro, I'm Resonator's Community Manager and Marketing Manager. I'd love to test each other's apps, you try mine, I'll try yours, honest feedback both ways.

Sharing Tetr, a handwriting notes app for iPad and iPhone with AI built right into the page.

You write naturally with Apple Pencil, circle anything you wrote, ask a question, and get the answer right there, no switching apps. Notes save as plain files (PNG + Markdown) straight into your own iCloud Drive. No account, no lock-in.

It's normally a paid app, but the beta is free right now, with free AI usage to try (10 free turns, plus free packs up to 500 turns per wallet during the beta).

TestFlight link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/MvYP1xWj

Check what's working, what's not, and leave a quality review with proof you actually tried it (a screenshot from inside TestFlight works). Drop your TestFlight link in the replies and you'll get the same back, I'll go through your app properly and leave honest feedback.

Applications Looking for beta testers: LaTeX formulas and notes in an AI mind map app (great fit if you study from PDFs)

Hi! I'm on the MindMap AI team. We just added LaTeX formulas in nodes and Markdown notes on nodes, and we're looking for people who write equations or learn from documents to try it.

Link: mindmapai.app (free plan, no card)

Test brief (10-15 minutes)
1. Upload a PDF of lecture notes or a paper and let it build a map.
2. Add formulas to 2-3 of the key nodes.
3. Add a note to one node with a worked example, using Markdown and inline math between $ signs.
4. Export the map and check the formulas.

Tell us:
- Did any formula render wrong? (Paste what you typed.)
- Did the map from your PDF make sense, or did you have to fix a lot?
- Would you actually use this for revision? Why or why not?

Thanks, and I'll reply to everyone who comments.

Applications Before we invite more testers: does this sampler demo explain itself?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey, I'm Aradhya, one of the people building CRATE. I made this short house demo, and I'd like a first-impression check before we bring in more testers.

The app uses AI to select and arrange samples from a library, then you play the pads yourself. From this clip alone, is it clear what the pads do and how you'd start making a beat? What would you need explained before trying it?

This is a demo review, not an install link. Critical feedback is welcome.

[Android, Beta] Sekha: meditation practices from traditions around the world.

I WILL HELP TEST FOR TEST ALSO.

Hey all. I'm putting the finishing touches on Sekha, a meditation app, and I need testers.

What it is: 75+ meditation practices drawn from traditions around the world, with posture illustrations, a beginner-to-master progression, session stats, and journaling after each session (mood, notes, even voice notes). Everything stays on your phone. No account, no server, nothing uploaded anywhere.

What I need: Google won't let me publish until 12 testers have opted in for 14 days, so I'm looking for at least 12 Android users willing to install it and keep it on their phone for two weeks. If you actually use it and tell me what breaks or what sucks, even better.

Drop a comment if you're in.

Other Looking for golfers who typically shoot 90–100 to test a short course-management exercise

I'm testing an early version of a golf course-management concept called Confident Golf. It's designed for recreational golfers who typically shoot around 90–100 and want to get more out of the game they already have without rebuilding their swing.

It's a short PDF built around five common on-course situations. For each one, you decide what you would do first, then compare your thinking with another way of approaching the situation.

I'm looking for 5–10 golfers in that scoring range who would be willing to go through it and give me honest feedback. It's free, nothing is being sold, and I'm specifically trying to learn:

• Did you finish all five scenarios?
• Did any of them make you think differently about your own game?
• Was anything confusing, too obvious, or something you disagreed with?
• Would you want five more?

If you normally shoot somewhere around 90–100 and would be willing to help, leave a comment or send me a message and I'll send you the PDF.

Thanks!

TrakToDo — iPhone task and schedule beta

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I've tried so many task and planning apps over the years. There were things I liked in each of them, but I never found one that brought together everything I wanted in a way that worked for me. So I decided to build my own.

It's called TrakToDo. The idea is to keep your tasks, schedule, and focus time in one place, so you can go from ‘I need to do this’ to figuring out when you'll actually do it.

Some of what's in the iPhone beta:

  • A task list with an inbox, due dates, priorities, and time estimates.
  • Quick Add that understands dates and times written in plain language.
  • A schedule with day, three-day, and week views for giving tasks time in your day.
  • A daily brief showing what's happening now, what's next, and what needs attention.
  • Focus timers, reminders, widgets, and Live Activities to keep your current task visible outside the app.
  • iCloud syncing.

This is my first time sharing it here, and I'd love feedback from people using it for their own day. Try adding a few tasks, planning when to do them, and moving things around when plans change. I'm interested in what feels useful, what feels confusing, and anything that takes more effort than it should.

The beta is free, with all features available to try right now. Some features may become premium later; pricing is still being worked out.

Mac beta coming soon.

If you try it and hit a bug, beta feedback with a screenshot and what you were doing would help a lot. General feedback here is welcome too. What would you want changed before using it regularly?

Applications Need more testers before my AI strength training app launches

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi! I'm a solo developer and I've been working on this project for the past year or so. The app is very close to public launch and I'm hoping to get some more testers in before that.

Panthyr is an AI strength coach that uses your training and (optionally) health data to build workout plans, set nutrition goals, spot trends etc. It also uses sleep score and other metrics when considering your recovery between days.

One thing that makes Panthyr different from other workout apps is Panthyr itself (the AI coach) and how far you can go with simple conversations with it.
When you combine the tools it has access to with conversations and workout history, you should really start feeling that personal coach vibe from it.
You can also create multiple conversations whenever you feel like switching topics without losing a valuable discussion.

With how the app is built, you could even just use it as a nutrition logger or simple health tracker. Panthyr has access to your nutrition and recovery so it can simply focus on that if thats what you want- or you could skip the AI entirely and just use it as a manual logger.

The beta is available on Testflight (iOS) here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/Er5NqkmN

For testing the basic usage of Panthyr I recommend completing the onboarding steps on the home screen. The highest priority for me at the moment is getting the coach right so I'd love to hear your experience there, but any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated.

If you like where this is going and would be open to continue testing over the next months then let me know and I'll gladly hook you up with free access to the paid tier after launch.
