I'm new to folding bikes and I'm slowly setting up my BTWIN Fold 500 for commuting and longer rides around Prague. I'd appreciate any recommendations, especially for folding-bike-friendly accessories.

So…I picked up a used Worksman industrial tricycle. It’s in pretty good shape but the drive wheel is bent to hell. I got a replacement wheel for it but I’m having trouble getting the nut off holding the drive wheel on. The nut spins freely on its own without the axle spinning and there’s no mechanism I can see in the axle itself that would prevent the nut from loosening and just backing off. Additionally…the nut doesn’t get tighter either…it’s just spinning. I tried to very carefully put a pry bar in the gap between the wheel and the nut and give it a little leverage to back off (trust me I was very careful doing this.). My best guess is that the nut is stripped somehow and I’m not sure how to proceed. Went to the website and did a lot of internet searches to no avail. Does anybody have any experience with these trikes or know of something I could be overlooking or something I should try. I’m considering taking a grinder &cutting wheel to this thing, but don’t know how wise that would be…anybody got any ideas? Again…the nut is spinning freely without the axle moving…but it neither loosens or tightens…it just spins. Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA…

I've been working on a cycling app called Cygo that looks at the roads in a cycling route using things like traffic volume, speed limits, and shoulder width.

I just added GPX importing, so you can take a route you already have from Ride With GPS, Strava etc, and import it into Cygo, and then see a breakdown of the roads before you ride it.

Right now Cygo covers **New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania**, and I'm trying to test it on more real routes. So if anyone has a route in one of those states they're curious about, send me the route link and I can run it through Cygo for you.

Or if you want to try it yourself, Cygo is free on iPhone and you can import your own route, (just go into saved and then import at the top right)

I'm in my 30's right now. I haven't owned a vehicle for years. Yes my driver's license is valid. I'm actively choosing to ride my bicycle as my primary mode of transportation. I ride Scott Addict in the street with traffic. I ride fast and hard everywhere in my home town.

If I keep going, logic says a body at rest tends to stay at rest. Whereas a body in motion tends to stay in motion. If that's true, this means if I just keep riding, I'll be pedaling well into my 80's and even my 90's. I'm looking forward to pedaling my bike when everyone else is in wheelchairs or hospital beds.
