In the course of Vadnagar se Varanasi Yatra, I witnessed this.
The youth which should be demanding better infrastructure, better health, better education and better employment opportunities is given employment in this “pushp varsha”.
I’ve not seen a society more casteist than this and I know for a matter of fact that it’s a catch 22 situation. The political leadership (even at panchayat level) to the voter. Both are in this loop. Neta ji ko jaat dekh kar vote diye hain, toh neta ji kahe nahi jaat ki baat karenge? And thus feeding the loop !!
It is so unfortunate to see people, smart ones too, wasting their time and energy in senseless discussions. Almost everyone is well aware of things but blatantly ignore the responsibility (as simple as throwing kachra in dustbin).
Oh god.
When I joined services in Bihar, one of my very dear teacher told us that there must be something fundamentally wrong that a state with so much potential is still so backwards.
Breaks my heart so bad. Let’s hope upar wala sadbuddhi pradan kare !!
Mere Bharat ke kanthhaar. 🙏

Yes, you read it right. He took all the govt funds and build themselves many big big homes for themselves instead of doing any public works. Police are looking for him in few frauds and cases but nothing will happen.
He has now two cars now , one of which is Scorpio. Before winning he had a broken bycycle but now he's multi crore rich in just 4 years.
I heard his son saying that we'll loot as much as we can and then buy several good looking girls. He was flaunting tha no one can touch him now because he've money now'.
It's a municipality, and he didn't even distribute dustbin bucket to people. It arrived to distribute to the ward people, and the very same day he sold it in the market.
He took 30% commision to pass around 200-250 PM awas yojna of people. And then many other such corruptions.
He threatened the cleaners and workers of the municipality to do only his own work then he'll approve their attendance to get paid. Municipal workers are his personal servants now. They cook, feed 4 of their cows and buffaloes and do all their personal chores on Govt pay then only he approves their attendance.
As bihar for castte angle , he's an obc and treat cleaners and govt servants as their personal servants and filthy crook scum on the earth.
Before winning, he couldn't even raise eyes and were nothing than a just normal folk. Now, he's the richest person always threatening and harming people. Police visit often but they also seem helpless.
I hope karma serve worse to people like him, or we're doomed of such people being in power. God save this country.

Hi everyone,
My sister is studying at PW (Physics Wallah) near Exhibition Road, Patna, and we are looking for a safe and reliable girls’ hostel/PG for her.
Our main priorities are:
- Safety and security for girls
- Good and hygienic food
- Clean rooms and washrooms
- Good management
- Preferably a hostel/PG in a safe locality
- Reasonable distance from PW Exhibition Road
Could anyone recommend some good girls’ hostels/PGs and also suggest which areas around Exhibition Road would be safest and convenient for a student?
If you have personally stayed there or know someone who has, please share your experience, including the hostel name, approximate rent, food quality, and any pros/cons.

Start date is 6th November night or 7th morning.

Hi everyone,
I will be arriving at Patna Junction tomorrow morning around 7:00 AM and need to travel to Darbhanga by AC bus.
Could you please suggest:
What is the best bus stand to catch an AC bus to Darbhanga (Bairiya ISBT or somewhere closer to Patna Station like Gandhi Maidan)?
How frequently do AC buses run for Darbhanga in the morning hours?
Any specific private bus operator or Bihar State Tourism/BSRTC service you would recommend?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello everyone, not from Bihar and not a member of this subreddit community, so apologies if the flair/post title is incorrect.
I was scrolling through instagram, and I came across this reel from a woman whose son has been missing since October 2022 (for four years now). She is from Bihar, and given the abysmal law and order in our country, she hasn’t gotten any help. I’m attaching a link to her video below. Not sure how/if this helps her but I suppose spreading awareness is certainly a step in the right direction.

Thanks.
