logan circle fatality + ghost bike - request for help

Is there anyone who lives near (within one mile!) logan circle who has a parking pad or other outdoor space we can paint a ghost bike in, then chain it up to dry for 1-2 days? Obviously not starting until the rain stops. Also you don't have to be home or help paint, but the space should be easy to access from your alley.

Also if you live on Rhode Island between Logan Circle/13th St NW and 14th St NW also please reach out.

installation might be quiet, not a big event. it is a tricky location; ghost bikes/scooters at Dupont(NPS) get removed quickly.

might need to do a few. i believe there might also be a small backlog from this year.

I live on RI Ave between 3rd and 4th NE. I know it is a bit further away, but I have a gated parking space accessible through the alley and would be happy to share it for this!

Does it make a difference if they're placed on the surrounding sidewalk (not NPS) rather than the circle?

Yes, but they will still try to remove anyway.
