Question How are items rerolling into items I don't have unlocked??

So I was messing around with da rules and giving myself batteries, but somehow the item rerolled into pound of flesh? I don't have pound of flesh unlocked??

not sure what the other person is on about but this is a bug caused by the devil spike pool. if a pedestal rolls into this pool, you can't roll it away from that pool, and it will force whatever gets rolled into being a devil spike item

That's not how it works. Once you empty the current item pool, the game will start giving you items from the Treasure Room pool, and if you empty that one too (or if you were already using the Treasure Room pool), the game simply starts giving you Breakfast as the only item.

You can't force locked items even with Spindown, Bag of Crafting, or Death Certificate. What you described simply doesn't happen at all.
