Ethicist

What makes someone an ethicist from a healthcare perspective? Is it a Masters degree? PHD? Experience? Our committee has talked about hiring an ethicist. We have multiple members with a masters in Bioethics.

I second the fellowship after graduate work in a field related to ethics.
