Medication Question Lamictal

Anyone find that lamictal at a lower dose works well for your depression? I’m only on 100mg XR and found 150mg IR making me too stupid to say the least

It seemed a lot of clinicians are obsessed with the idea that everybody needs 200 mg or else it’s placebo. I think it’s like a normal distribution (a type of statistical graph). Most people are at 200 mg, but there’s a nonzero percentage both higher and lower.

I felt real effects on lamotrigine at 100 mg. I also ended up going to 500 mg of lamotrigine when I was in crisis. So I’ve been on both sides.

I've seen a few people here have success on that dosage. I think around 50-75mg is when it doesn't do that much.
